We're proud to present our first home show under our new name –
Exeter City Amateur Boxing Club.

Join us at the famous Corn Exchange for an action-packed evening showcasing some of the region's best amateur boxing talent. It's set to be a fantastic night, and we'd love to see you there supporting our boxers.

From our raffle winner on our last home show

A massive thank you to everyone at Exeter City Amateur Boxing Club!

Our daughter, Ellie, trains at the club, so we were already looking forward to the home show. We were then incredibly lucky to win the raffle prize of a 4-night stay at Silverlake Dorset!

We’ve had an absolutely fantastic few days away, making some great family memories, and we’re so grateful for such a generous prize.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the show, sold raffle tickets, donated prizes, and made the event such a success. The club has such a brilliant atmosphere, and it’s clear how much hard work goes into supporting the boxers and their families.

Members, family, friends and newcomers... all helpers are welcome to come alona to our Paint&Celebrate weekend as we aim to give our club a bit of a makeover.
Over the weekend of 25th - 26th Julv 2026 we'll be looking for help cleaning, tidving and painting our gym. Come and help give it a fresh new look, all in the name of communitv spirit
We'll finish the weekend off with a BBQ on Sunday from around 2pm to celebrate the end of what has been a wonderfully busy season for the club

🥊🥊🥊 Name has changed, but the goal remains the same. Hard work and providing our boxers with the opportunities they deserve!

In just the last 3 seasons alone we have been able to produce National & Novice Champions, Silver and Bronze medalists alongside 4 Box Cup Champions.

We've given them opportunities to represent the SW in international competitions, and face boxers competing for countries all around Europe. This season is already shaping up to be our busiest ever, with offers already to box in box cups in Europe, and over 27 shows booked in for the South West!

Safe to say if you're keen to box, our club will provide you with the platform to do just that!

🥊 Club Name Change Announcement 🥊

We are pleased to announce that Hardknocks ABC will be changing its name to Exeter City Amateur Boxing Club.

This change will come into effect over the next few weeks and will be fully in place for the start of the new Alliance season.

While our name is changing, everything else remains the same.
We will continue to provide the same coaching, opportunities, values, and principles that have helped build our club over the years.

Alongside this exciting change, Hardknocks Community Gym will continue to operate and will be opening its doors for personal training, fitness use, and hire by other clubs and organisations.

Hardknocks Gym will be the proud host and home of Exeter City Amateur Boxing Club, providing a dedicated facility for our boxers while also supporting the wider boxing and fitness community.

We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to building on everything that has made our club successful while creating even more opportunities for our members and the local community.
