What a weekend it was, We bought a squad twice as big as we have ever bought and boy didn’t we show out. From our first BUCS points to peoples first competition each and every one in the squad admirably. Here’s a mix of our photos and best throws!!

Here’s the team travelling up to Walsall tommorow to compete at BUCS. These judoka have put in 100% over the year and we will support them all the way!!

Folks of judo, our rescheduled winter ball has arrived. Join us for a meal at the COZY club this following Tuesday to celebrate first terms achievements as we move on to through second term and into BUCS season. Tickets in the WhatsApp group. Come in your finest black tie. See you there!!

Ladies and Gents! It is our pleasure to announce a Winter get together as the final social of Exeter Judo for 2025!!!!

Meeting at 7pm on Tuesday the 9th at the Imperial, where drinks, food, and good times will be had. We will hold our award ceremony for first term, and reflect on good times had over the last few months.

We are so so back!!! Taster sessions for judo start next week! Ticket information will be released on both the WhatsApp group and here on instagram so keep your eyes peeled. If you don’t get a ticket please please do not come expecting to train, with limited mat space overcrowding must be avoided, if you do miss out on tickets to tasters contact us and we will get you a free taster session during term time.

One final post before we reveal the plan for welcome week. On Saturday our president and publicity sec will return to the venue that hosted BUCS in hope of better fortune this time around. Jack is coming in off some good form and down a weight class in his first opportunity to score points towards his black belt and Pierce has been training hard over summer and will look to assert dominance over the kyu grades. Good luck to both fighters!!

And at last here is our president for the year,Pierce. He will be in charge of the overall running of the club and will always be around answering questions during freshers week and beyond. Another competitor look for Pierce to be making waves in BUCS and other competitions throughout the year!!

Next up is our welfare sec Perdi, she will be the friendly face making sure our members are being kept safe at events and will be the first point of contact for any society members issues. Her experience with safeguarding and wellbeing procedures makes her perfect for this role. Congratulations Perdi!!
