🚩These friendly low-key competitions are scheduled for the last Tuesday of each month April to September.

🚩Funetics Triathlon for the U10s.
🚩U10, U12, U14 age groups your results will go towards the Exeter Harriers PB Awards

The new date is now 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟖 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 not Sunday 19th. The track is unavailable on the 19th.

Please can all the athletes who have entered for Sunday 19th consider if they can compete on Saturday 18th.

Any athlete who cannot make the Saturday will have their entry fee refunded. Please inform the meeting organiser on [email protected] to ask for a refund.

If we do not hear from you to request a refund we will assume you are able to compete on the Saturday.

As a result of the new age groups there is a new event: 200m hurdles for U14 boys & U14 girls.

Note: for the first time Exeter Harriers club members qualify for a reduction in the entry fee.

Medals for the first 3 in each event.

U10 young athletes will participate in the exciting Funetics Quadrathlon. We are looking forward to running this fun, focused event.

BRIAN O'HARE RIP
A message from Debbie, Brian's daughter:

"Please could you pass on my thanks to everyone who attended Dad's funeral and/or wake on Friday. The collection on the day came to £203.70, which I have now added to online collection. It was so kind of people to take the time out to pay their respects, and very much appreciated by us, as family. Kind regards, Debbie."

Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and wishes. The funeral will be on 23rd January, 10am at St Michael's Church (seafront), and there will be a wake later if anyone wants to join us to celebrate Dad's life. Tribute to Brian O'Hare, 1946 - 2025 Dedicated to the memory of Brian O'Hare

𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗢'𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 - 𝗥𝗜𝗣

A message from David Phillips, our Chairman.

It is my sad duty to inform you that Brian, our chief coach, passed away on Sunday evening. Although he was unwell and receiving treatment, it was unexpected. Only last Thursday he was at the club, monitoring his huge training group, looking very cosy in his Christmas pudding bobble hat, after sorting the juniors into their groups.

He was with the club for many years and still ran regularly. A very experienced coach willing to encourage, support and help anyone. The way he carried on cheerfully in spite of his illness was an inspiration to us all.

In due course his family will let us know of funeral plans.

Our thoughts are very much with his beloved family, of whom he was very proud.
