Evening everyone,

To those people on the waiting list, the tour operator allocated another 30 beds on Friday so you should have all seen your number drop. Obviously we were hoping for a larger initial bulk of beds to be secured, but the tour operator is now suggesting it will be a slower trickle of rooms released over the coming weeks. We understand this isn't the most emphatic news, so will be in close communication with them all of next week, to hurry the process up as much as we can and make sure they are securing all the available beds as quickly as possible. Sadly at this time we can't give a definite day by which you'll know if you've got a space, but we will be pressing Nuco as much as we can.

**1HR UNTIL LAUNCH**

Have had a couple people ask about inputing their travel insurance details: You can either purchase travel insurance on the booking page, or if you don't have the details to hand right now, input any random numbers and update your booking later on.

REMEMBER: The waiting system is unavoidable unfortunately, many of you will be on it due to the huge interest we've had this year, PLEASE remember that putting the £100 deposit down is the only way we'll be able to claim more bed spaces. Just because you may not be official booked onto the trip tonight, doesn't mean you won't be by the end of the week!

**BOOKING GOES LIVE TOMORROW**

TIME CHANGE: Due to some exams running until 5.30pm, we have decided that booking will now go live at 6pm tomorrow. Booking links will be dropped to all our FB pages.

BOOKING: 1 booking per person. We have had a few people message in asking whether their friends can sign them up but the booking process only allows a single booking at a time. Once in the booking portal your space will be reserved for 25 minutes, giving you enough time to fill out all necessary information.

WAITING LIST: We are going to reach the waiting list very quickly tomorrow, it is inevitable!! We want to reiterate that this shouldn't deter you in any way from putting the £100 deposit down. This is an essential requirement of booking out more rooms. We are CONFIDENT of finding spaces for EVERYONE that wants to go on the trip, but more bed spaces will only be booked if the £100 is put down. The turn around time for finding out will be quick - a maximum of a couple of days.

**5 days until we go LIVE**

With 5 days to go until the trip booking goes live our excitement is building! Below is important information regarding booking:

- A reminder that a £100 deposit will be required to secure your place on the trip. Further payments are made in instalments in the New Year.

- The booking code will go live via our social media pages at 5pm, so be ready and waiting on Facebook.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

- Due to the level of demand this year the trip is going to SELL OUT extremely quickly!! Once the initial beds have gone, a waiting list system will be introduced which will require you to pay the £100 deposit (fully refundable if no extra spaces can be found). We have been working very closely with the tour operator to secure extra beds in resort and this is why we have moved bookings forward to this side of Christmas.

- PLEASE don't be deterred if you go on the waiting list, as extra spots ARE available and will be secured on a rolling basis after the £100 waiting list deposit has been payed.

**Important and exciting news**

Evening Ski Club,

As we approach the end of term we want to announce that booking for the Easter trip to Val Thorens goes live on Monday 11th December at 5pm. This is going to be the ONLY Christmas present you need!!

Initially planned for January, we've made the decision to move bookings forward so that we can guarantee more rooms in resort and get as many of you on the trip as possible. It really is going to be the best week of the year and with winter fast approaching we're getting increasingly excited by the day!

To secure your place a £100 DEPOSIT is all that will be required this side of Christmas, with the rest not due until after January. It will be First Come First Serve but exact information on how to book on to the trip will be released closer to the time. For now just make sure to put the 11th in your diary and get your deposit ready!!

Dear Ski Club,

Emails have just been sent out to your University email addresses! Annoyingly for some they might have gone to clutter/spam folders so please check those. We've had about 10 emails rebuffed as people may not have provided the right address at Freshers Fair. Please check your emails and if you haven't received an email could you message the Ski Club page with the right address so that we can send the email to you.

**Reiterating what it says in the email we have a limited number of £8 paper tickets for the major HiD event this coming Saturday. With a stellar line up this is going to be a sell out, so make sure to secure your ticket. Please message the Ski Club page asap if your interested in claiming one as they won't last long**

Thanks to all of you who made it to our stand yesterday to sign up! We're very excited that you've decided to join us and we look forward to providing an unforgettable trip next Easter and great socials throughout the year.

- The free trip raffle will be drawn this coming FRIDAY. One lucky person will start the weekend knowing that they've bagged themselves a free spot on the best week of your Uni calendar. We'll draw it via Facebook Live - keep liking the page so that you are kept in the loop.
