FULLTIME - EX DONS 3 - 1 BEACON KNIGHTS
A difficult place to go. S**t pitch. With everything being thrown at us in the last 10.
And we stood up to it.
That was an underrated result.
When we played, we played together.
When we suffered, we suffered together.
The defending in our own box was outstanding. Bodies on the line. Blocks, clearances, challenges — everything.
If it ended 6/7-1, there couldn’t have been many complaints.
Proper Dons today.
We had to move away from our DNA a little, but what a performance. Every single player put a shift in. Everyone played their part. No passengers.
That’s the character we need.
Now we go again next week and back it up.
No excuses.
