Here’s just one of our dancers who got their 6 years of dance award. At our first summer showcase at Manor Gardens (before Exmouth Festival was a thing!), they received one of our RADF Awards for commitment after just their first year. Another 5 years on and this dancer is still coming to class and enjoying it. With a move to seniors and secondary school this year they’ve become a little more confident and loves to talk with their dance pals giving support when needed and helping them shine. ✨
There are many more that have achieved some really awesome milestones this year. I love that you all keep coming back, and I hope we can continue to create a safe and friendly space for dance in Exmouth. 💚

Classes may be over but there’s still a few things to get involved with over the summer 💚 3 summer camp days all based on different themes, August isn’t just a month off. 💪

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to SUPPORT or SHINE in our Exmouth Festival performance. It was a lovely experience for all and I hope they’re all feeling really proud of their achievements this year. 💪

Thank you as always to all you lovely families who come along and support, and to all the children who work hard every lesson to learn their routines and new moves. 💪 They all did really great having the confidence to get up there and perform in front of everyone, it’s not easy when you can see everyone’s faces.

PS. If anyone got any photos/videos I’d love for you to send them over as I wasn’t able to get anything from the performance 🙈

We’re at Exmouth Festival again this year! We’re on a BRAND NEW stage at the Imperial Hotel Gardens. You can catch us on Saturday 11th at 12:45-1:30 showing everyone what we’ve been up to this year. It’s a great way to see if you’d like to get involved as we do have a few trial slots available 💚

Interested in doing more onstage? Why not consider our performance team? They are a smaller group of dedicated students who rehearse once a week to perform at events throughout the year. ✨

I’ve sent emails out today to those who are 7+ with lots of info of what it entails. In a smaller version though; this is in addition to regular class, and covers costumes, and the two events. The dancers involved have enjoyed it this year, especially juniors!

The team shone at the UDO Encore South West Event this month. There were trophies for team routines, and trophies for their improvisation, and duet routines that they had had a go at making up. They’ve even asked to go again next year! ✨

Here’s what’s coming up over the summer for RADF 🌈

Exams aren’t for everyone. For those who want to do them I make the best decisions I can to get them to what they can achieve. It gives everyone a sense of achievement for everything they’ve accomplished. Reasonable adjustments may include; me being in the room, moving to a video exam rather than in person exam, doing solo routines with another person, or even using alternative music if the set music isn’t processed well.
