I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed reading your comments about my impending retirement and shop closure. It really does give me a warm feeling knowing the work we have done over the years has been appreciated. The Sell off began today! Currently I am only discounting what I call cycle accessories, that is: Clothing, helmets, lights locks, tools, things like that and there are lots! Half price, do come and look. Actual bike components, I am not yet ready to discount as they are integral to my continued bike servicing and repair until the Autumn. There may be an excess of some things, but for now it's mostly bikes (variable discounts) and accessories (50%) that are in the sale.

After 28 years, the time has finally come for me to hang up my tools and retire.
It’s been an incredible journey. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many like-minded cyclists over the years, and it’s been a real pleasure keeping the local community rolling and sharing the passion for 2 wheeled exploration, life and exercise.
As I step back to enjoy a well earned break and a bit more freedom, the shop will be closing. At the moment, there’s no buyer lined up for the business (though if anyone is interested, please do get in touch — the freehold will be available).
A closing down sale will begin on Tuesday, April 7th at 12pm. There will be a great selection of bikes, mostly 30% off RRP, plus a huge range of accessories at around half price. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Come and grab a bargain!

I will continue to offer repairs and servicing for a little while, though I may not be able to take on as much work as before. I appreciate your patience during this transition, and eventually you’ll need to find an alternative workshop — something I say with a heavy heart, but it’s simply the reality of retiring.
For anyone with recently purchased bikes, all warranties remain fully valid with the manufacturers. Giant, Marin, and Focus will be able to direct you to the appropriate service centres should any warranty issues arise.
Thank you for your support over the years. It’s been an honour to serve this community, and I’ll always look back on these 28 years with pride and gratitude. Keep the biscuits coming for now, without them the wheels would have fallen off!
I would also like to thank all my previous members of staff over the years, some of whom spent a good proportion of their lives in that space. Thanks guys.

For Sale - Giant Trance E+ Pro 1 27.5 XS. 2021. 625wh battery. Suitable for a small person. Perhaps a lady who can't find a small enough bike. Anything over 5'2" ought to be ok. Hi all. You may have already heard, but the shop was targeted by thieves on Monday night/Tuesday morning. They only had a couple of minutes, but they took 7 high value eBikes. Police are doing their best and we have actually spoken to a few of them. Big thanks to Autosave my business neighbours for not only having really good CCTV, but spending ages going through it finding the relevant bits. Thanks Mitch! The shop was scoped out thoroughly during the daytime. One even came in posing as a customer. The door is boarded up, as and I am writing this a crime scene investigator is here.
The shop is open for business as usual, but for a few days please use the back entrance service lane off Hartop Road.

Giant / Liv's first real mountain bike! By that I mean they have totally revamped the introductory mountain bike, the 'Talon' and the 'Tempt'.
