I wrote this 10 years ago. Now 17 years since he took his last flight! 🚁
Today marks 7 years since my old man passed away at the age of just 52.
Here are some lessons i learnt from him.
1. Getting shot and left for dead really does mess up ones body and mind.
2. Living a life true to yourself is essential. Doing so at the detriment of your responsibilities isn’t.
3. Taking risks is all part of the fun.
4. We all make a difference by merely existing , it’s a choice from what type of difference you make.
5. Conformity sucks!
6. Spontaneity is rather fun.
7. Poison manifests itself in many ways.
8. Health is the ONLY thing you actually have so look after it.
9. Be fearful. Be very fearful . Meet fear. Look fear into the eyes. Smile at fear. Help fear. Teach fear. Make FEAR your friend. Find new a FEAR. Repeat.
10. You think you have time. Time doesn’t care what you think.

Nice little mornings adult PE for us. Was super impressed with . Obviously really handy being so local. Well organised and still giving vibes without the manic busyness of hyrox.
Massive well done to Andy and along with Phil . Late entries without much prep for this and they gave it their all.
Personally it felt good to be back in the race arena. Am Working on some decent injuries at the moment so am no where up to speed but in the words of Pete Tong…. We continue.

and I got a solid 12 rounds of body sparring in today. Good safe conditioning. The type of training that’s only bettered by actual fighting.
Glad I can still hold it together at 47….just.

This guy has come from some serious struggles. Brain cancer and had put on huge amount of weight after all the meds. I used to train Dean many years ago and his love for boxing training and our pad work specifically was a winning solution to getting back his health and performance.
Dean continually pushes through his struggles in compromised immunity and other effects of his cancer.
He’s lost all his excess weight and trains as well as he did when he used to compete.
This year’s client of the year deservingly goes to Dean Tratt.

I get it it’s a busy busy month, and often this time of year you kind of just say f #*k it I’ll start again in the new year. But then new year hits and you’re in ‘just get through January’ mode.
Why not plan ahead and lock in that decision and real intent now rather than wait until you’re making half assed impulsive decisions without and a solid structure in place?
Think about how your January and beyond could actually look if you planned a little ahead of time. If you need direction book some help. If you wanted to progress well in January and be excited for the early months of 2026 have a think how you can make that happen.
Address on areas you want to change. Book in the help and guidance and have it in place to hit January at a good pace!

Nothing pleases me more than seeing my clients putting themselves out there ,progressing and achieving!
From a client feeling that 2 minutes on the ski erg is quite enough to completing a Driathlon.
20min ski - bike - rower for calories.
A great shift by all on a Sunday morning. ❤️

Our last Fitness safari Namibia was a huge success. Soo many incredible moments and memories to last a life time.
We have the exciting news of a provisional date for next May 2026 and if you were interested and wanted to know more about what this trip entails, we are holding a Q+A at studios on the 13th December in Tinhay Ind Est Lifton near Launceston.
Time to be finalised but will be Pm.
