Question. What’s a pergola for?
Is it for growing plants up?
Is it for shade?
Is it just for looks
I personally believe that it’s all of the above but more importantly and almost always overlooked is the shadow lines that a well designed pergola can create, this adds a new dimension to good design and an ever moving piece of design.
