Exmouth Rifle Club

It seems that Meta have reversed their decision and allowed our public page again. 😀

For some reason, Facebook/Meta have stopped our club site being recommended so I have changed the profile picture just to see. We have had no violations and we are a club for indoor shooting. Rarely do we get posts from others so I am at a loss.

So, Facebook/Meta have decided that our club page goes against their recommendations even though we have zero violations. I have appealed. We are a small indoor club and rarely get posts. Any adverse ones are deleted. We shall see.

Nice haul of trophies for the summer comp. Well done to all who entered, many not getting trophies but still improving their average.

Belated congratulations to our Prone team for winning silver in their league of the winter Devon & district competition & to James for winning gold in his league of the LSR. Members don’t have to shoot in competitions, they can if they want to. You can be shooting really well & then put a competition sticker on that card & ‘stickeritis’ happens, your shooting gets haphazard- it really does happen, until you learn to ignore the sticker & tell your brain & hand ‘it’s just another card’ but is it? 🧐😁

The range in the rifle club is getting tidier every month. Getting there slowly with the aid of a couple of grants.

Anyone wishing to join, we will have a waiting list from February for LSR - stand up shooting - (this does not include people I have already contacted this month) but if you want to shoot prone rifle there are spaces. PM me if interest but please be patient. I try and answer regularly but not always possible.
It’s amazing where the time goes even when you’re retired!

Tidying up the club range & updating it, takes a bit of work & help from members between shooting competitions & working days. We’re getting there & still open. What goes on behind the scenes.
