Over the summer a dedicated Mischief of Magpies have been hard at work refurbishing the clubhouse. If you have not yet seen the results do pop in. However, to finish the transformation we are now seeking the help of all Magpies.
We need hockey memorabilia, Magpies memorabilia and of course photos. We are particularly looking for images that you think best represent and demonstrate our club values, across the generations. Our values are:
PRIDE - of our Club, our teams, our people, our facilities and ways of operating
TEAMWORK - Working together, being supportive, encouraging and making experiences enjoyable
INTEGRITY - doing what is right - openness, fairness and equity, maintaining standards, and championing inclusion and diversity
RESPECT - recognising and accepting people as individuals, upholding and modelling high standards of behaviour. On the pitch winning and loosing with dignity
ASPIRATION - strive to improve, set stretching targets, recognise achievements. Celebrating success on and off the pitch, winning and loosing with dignity
So please look back in those family photo albums and see what you can find. Have you got pictures of the club and grounds being developed by members? Social events, Club successes - on and off the field of play or indeed anything else Club members used to get up to in the wider community. You can either drop your pictures into the Bar to be made into digit copies - alternatively if they are already available in an electronic format please email to Sally at [email protected]. Any photos donated will be returned.
