Very low tide this morning so some of us played beach rounders. No injuries but a lot of cheating!We'll row at 5pm when the tide is in.

Rocinante, with Ana, Kyp and Fay rowing on Saturday evening, completed the club's three entries in the International 5 Miles From Home Challenge at the weekend. Thanks to Ian and Norman who rowed the distance twice on Saturday to keep them company!

On an extremely windy day 10 members in two rowing skiffs accepted the challenge to row 5 Miles From Home. It was a tough row but they completed it in 1hour 30 mins and 1 hour 50 minutes. Congratulations!

What do you do when it's high tide but there's a swell running? You tow the skiff to the harbour slip and launch her there so you can still manage a row in the sunshine!

Very low tide meant a hard pull to get the boats into water deep enough to row in but we made it! We got close enough to the Hurkurs to see the seals and the seabed!

Both skiffs were out rowing Wednesday night waiting for the eclipse. Kyp managed to photograph it. Nick came complete with colander to protect his eyes!

Strong winds again prevented rowing but let us bring Seabreeze back fresh from her paint job and then play a hilarious game of rounders.
