We're delighted to be running the new STA Level 7 SCQF Swim Teacher qualification at Larbert High School from 27th–31st July.

This updated qualification has been designed to better prepare aspiring swimming teachers for real-world lesson delivery. Alongside developing the knowledge and practical skills required to teach swimming safely and effectively, the enhanced course content places a greater emphasis on teaching practice, learner development, and lesson delivery.

The result is a qualification that gives candidates the confidence and competence to move into independent teaching roles from the moment they qualify.

Swimming teachers play a vital role in helping people develop a skill that can last a lifetime. Whether you're looking for a new career, additional employment opportunities, or simply want to make a positive impact in your community, becoming a swimming teacher can be an incredibly rewarding pathway.

💙🌍 Supporting a Great Cause 🌍💙

We're incredibly proud to see one of our team members, Shannon, taking on an amazing challenge in support of an equally amazing cause.

In the summer of 2026, Shannon will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as part of the Edinburgh Dig Deep Team, helping to raise funds for Dig Deep, a charity that works alongside communities to provide access to clean water, safe sanitation, and good hygiene where it is needed most.

Access to clean water is something many of us take for granted, and it's fantastic to see members of our team using their time and energy to make a difference on a global scale.

This is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the years of hard work, dedication, and commitment that happen long before race day. From early mornings to countless hours in the pool, moments like this are earned through consistency and passion for the sport.

As we head into the festive period, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our members, past and present, for being part of our journey. Your continued support, trust, and commitment have played a huge role in the growth of Evolution Swim School, and we’re incredibly grateful.

We are really looking forward to the year ahead, as we continue developing and strengthening our Learn to Swim programme to give every swimmer the best possible experience.

Maybe… but we couldn’t resist getting into the Christmas spirit a little early! 🎄

Just like our swimmers, even Santa’s helpers go through stages; learning, growing, and developing new skills until they’re ready to take the lead!

As we head towards the festive season, we’re celebrating progress, confidence, and all the little steps that lead to big achievements!

You might notice things look a little different around here... our logo has had a Halloween makeover! 🦇

As the darker autumn nights start to creep in, we’re looking forward to spending more time indoors, keeping warm, and continuing to build confidence in the water. 🏊‍♀️

Swimming isn’t just a summer activity, it’s a skill that grows all year round. Whether it’s developing technique, building stamina, or simply having fun with friends, the pool is the perfect place to stay active as the nights draw in.
