FSA 2017’s Community Team

A tough game for the boys against a very good Dunipace team this morning. Apart from a couple of moments in the game, we just struggled to get going. Plenty of lessons to take back to training this week and sure we’ll see the boys bounce back with a more competitive performance next Saturday.

Special mention to our player of the match Jackson, part time goalie, part time outfielder, who done well to keep his composure when literally faced with the ball. He kept his captain head on throughout. Well done

A fantastic opportunity for our Galaxy Foundation 2017s today as we were invited along to play against Motherwell Academy 2018s. ⚽️

The boys did really well across both games, particularly the first, showing great effort, determination and some really good football throughout. 👏

Jackson will lead the boys out on Saturday at home to Dunipace. He’s earned the right by knuckling down and trying his hardest to improve during our training sessions this week. Well done Jackson

This weeks match ⚽️

An entertaining game on maybe the last warm Saturday of the year. The boys dug deep in the first half, without showing any real composure when it counted. It was a much improved second half performance where we moved the ball a lot better and the composure we asked for from the start, was evident.

A special mention to Tommy as our Captain on the day. He put in a MOTM inspired performance as he brilliantly lead the team by example. A fantastic work rate throughout the game which paid off with some real moments of quality in front of of goal.

We also had Zayne making his debut today with a real assured performance at the back. Reading the game extremely well and winning his individual duals.

We’d like to thank Abronhill for hosting us and wish them all the best for the remainder of the block.
