🎉 Day 1 of our new Back in the Game education programme is complete! 🙌

A huge welcome to our new group as they began their 12-week journey with us today ✅

Over the coming weeks, they’ll be working towards gaining qualifications, building employability skills, getting active, learning from community partners, making new friends and enjoying fun, interactive sessions both in the classroom and on the pitch. 💪📚🤝

We are delighted to share the Social Return on Investment findings for our 2025/26 Centre Forward programme.

From an investment of £50,000, Centre Forward generated an estimated £539,828.52 of social impact, producing a Social Return on Investment of £10.43 for every £1 invested.

Behind those figures are real outcomes. During 2025/26, 25 young people took part, achieving 230 qualification units, with 76% of those completing the programme progressing to a positive destination.

The assessment also identified significant value through increased sense of belonging, improved qualifications, progression into paid employment, stronger friendships and social connections, and improved health, wellbeing and confidence.

It is a powerful measure of what can be achieved when young people with Additional Support Needs are given the right support, time and opportunities to progress.

The new Falkirk Foundation kit came to life on the pitch this weekend, worn with pride by players across our male and female pathways.

It was great to see our teams enjoying their football and representing the Foundation as part of Falkirk’s wider football community.

These photographs capture what matters most: players supporting their teammates and sharing the experience with the coaches, volunteers, families and supporters who are there each week.

Another Bairn taking the next step. 💙🧤

Everyone at Falkirk Foundation would like to congratulate goalkeeper Benjamin Anderson, who has made the move from our 2013 Reds to Falkirk FC Academy.

Benjamin's journey with the Foundation began five years ago at our Goalkeeper classes before progressing through our community pathway with the 2013 Blues and, most recently, the 2013 Reds.

A Falkirk fan himself, Benjamin has worn the Foundation kit with pride throughout his journey and now follows in the footsteps of Joe Hastings by progressing from our community teams into the Falkirk FC Academy.

It's another fantastic example of the close relationship between the Foundation and Academy, and the pathway available to young players across our community.

Congratulations, Benjamin. Everyone at the Foundation wishes you every success as you begin your next chapter! 👏

Tonight, we are proud to reveal the new Falkirk Foundation strips for the 2026/27 season.

For this season, we were advised that our teams would no longer be able to continue wearing the strips they had worn for many years. That was not a decision taken by the Foundation.

While disappointed, our focus has been on moving forward positively and creating something that represents the people who make the Foundation what it is.

These strips will be worn by around 650 players across 42 teams. They belong to every player who pulls them on and to the coaches, volunteers, parents, families and supporters who stand behind them each week.

They represent our community, our values and the pride our players feel when they represent Falkirk Foundation.

More than 500 children. 16 primary schools. Over 1,200 breakfasts in just six weeks.

More than 500 primary school children across Falkirk have signed up to take part in our latest Extra Time and Bright Starts activity, delivered across 16 schools in communities throughout the area.

Through Extra Time, delivered in partnership with the Scottish FA and funded by the Scottish Government, alongside our Bright Starts work, children are getting the chance to start their day active, supported and ready to learn.

Our morning sessions combine physical activity with a healthy breakfast or snack, and during the first six-week block alone we expect to provide more than 1,200 breakfasts.

Some of the schools involved are in communities experiencing the highest levels of deprivation in Falkirk. That matters to us.
We want our programmes to reach children and families where they live, remove barriers to taking part and provide practical support that can make a difference to the start of their day.

More than 500 children signing up is a fantastic response, but it also shows the scale of the opportunity.

This is Falkirk Foundation at work across our community: using sport, our staff and our relationships with schools to support children, families and communities across Falkirk.
