Dave Wickes, James Anthony, James Carter and Leigh Robinson were lucky enough to make the journey to the Midlands for what turned out to be a truly fantastic experience. From exploring the impressive facilities to enjoying a good old kick about, the day was one to remember.

It was a great opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet some wonderful people, and create lasting memories.

As our club continues to grow, it's important that we keep evolving and strengthening our committee to support everything we do.
Today, we're delighted to welcome back a true Cornwall Lions legend.

An original committee member and our first-ever Hall of Famer, Paul Riley has been a tremendous supporter of the club for over 5½ years. From events and home and away games to European trips, Paul has always been a fantastic ambassador for Cornwall Lions.

We're proud to announce that Paul Riley has officially rejoined the Cornwall Lions Committee! 🦁

So, we’ve come to the end of another unforgettable season… and what a season it has been! 🟣🔵

After the opening five games, not many would have predicted what was to come, but this team has given us memories that will last a lifetime. Highlights included victories over every side that finished above us, signing off the league campaign with a superb double over Man City, securing another Top 4 finish, and qualifying for Champions League and European football for the fourth consecutive season — an incredible achievement in itself.

But the standout moment has to be Istanbul. Bringing home our first European trophy in 44 years was truly special and something every Villa fan will cherish forever 🏆🇹🇷

Some of our members made the journey to Turkey to witness history first-hand, while others stayed closer to home and enjoyed a fantastic watch along in Hayle. Whether in Istanbul or Hayle, the atmosphere, celebrations, and shared memories made it a night none of us will ever forget.

Thank you to everyone who travelled, attended events, supported the club, and represented our supporters group throughout the season. We’re already counting down to next year — but for now, we can still enjoy watching our Villa players competing on the world stage at the World Cup.

As a committee member over a few years I know how well deserved the President role for Dave James is! Congratulations DJ! UTV!

Just before the Semi Final begins, have a look in the Programme. You will find our Lions Event hosting Lee Hendrie! Also a tribute to our good friend Dave Hyslop, HEITS! Nerves kicking in. Come on Villa! Let’s do this!

Spurs at home. Brilliant that Dan & Jack Harris watched the match in the Adidas Executive Box, amazing experience but even better when you find out you’re sitting next to Alysson! Shame about the result but fully focused on our Europa Cup Semi Final against Forest tonight! UTV!

Not the result we were hoping for on a beautiful day by the Thames at the Cottage. Cornwall Lions made the trip but return home empty-handed. It was also George’s first ever away game!

All eyes now turn to a massive Europa League semi-final clash against Forest at the City Ground. Let’s bring something back to Villa Park for the second leg.

Yesterday we lost one of our own. Dave Hyslop.

A founding member of the Aston Villa’s Cornwall Lions Supporters Club, he was the voice that carried us through every event leading the songs, lifting the spirit, and bringing us all together.

As a tribute, we will be arranging a plaque in his memory outside Villa Park, so his presence will forever remain part of the club he loved.

You will be deeply missed Dave.
