We equip rural Kenyan communities with beehive fences, reducing elephant conflict and empowering hive-product entrepreneurship.
Problem:
Frequent clashes between elephants and rural farmers in Africa has led to retaliatory killings of many elephant individuals and negatively impacted local livelihoods through the loss of crop yields. Solution:
Innovative fences incorporating the African honey bee have shown to halt elephant crop raids. Proposal:
