The Field Gun community will come together on the 21st Feb 2026 at the Royal Maritime Hotel, Portsmouth. This annual dinner offers a chance for Serving and Veteran Field Gunners to come together to share our experiences and catch up with old friends over a beer and dinner. Facilitators and Partners are also invited to this event.

The Field Gun Crew are gearing up once again for an epic challenge, dragging the gun and limber (1400kg) up the slopes of Mt Vesuvius!

It’s been touch and go these last few days with the volcano getting an unusual dusting of snow, but the weather has finally turned in our favour and the team are ready to power through.

We’re doing this in support of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, an incredible organisation that stands behind serving members, their families, and our veterans when they need it most. They’re also a huge part of Field Gun’s history and spirit.
