Frensham Pond Sailing Club is based on a beautiful lake on the Surrey/Hampshire border. FPSC is a busy Club run by its members, for its members.

No champagne sailing to be had in Rock for the Scorpion open over the May Bank Holiday so Megan went south with her 2.4mR and found it at the Toulon Provence Regatta. A little and large event with 2.4 Metres and 12 Metres racing - no idea why the 5.5s, 6s and 8s don't join in... Well done for winning, Megan, with almost the perfect score over three days' racing - only a single 2nd place to discard!
That is some starting cannon they use......

All ready for open day tomorrow. We are running taster sails from 9:30 to 1pm. No need to book. Head down and enjoy the sunshine.

Frensham Youth Challenge Trophy! Congratulations to all our youth sailors at the club who took part in the mixed class event. It was great to see RS200, Feva, Cadet, ILCA and Tera fighting it out! Edward won the trophy, Charlie 2nd, Ava & Alice 3rd, Rory 4th, Henry 5th! Total of 29 boats 🤩.

Success for our Frensham Cadet Class Sailors at the Alf Simmons Trophy held at Grafham Water last weekend, and the first of the two selector events for representing the UK at the World's this summer. Well done to all in challenging conditions too!

Frensham Pond was represented at the Princess Sofia Regatta last week,

as a great first international event for Tristan Ahlheid in one of 6 GBR 49ers. They placed 55th out of 102 and were the fourth GBR boat.”

Some more great results at the youth nationals. In the 420 Sophia Sfaxi was 6th, Zoe and Mark were 15th and Emily Shell 26th. Tristan Harding finished 15th in the ILCA 6.
