Faversham is looking fantastic as our 2026 Scarecrow Trail comes to town this weekend! 👀

Take a stroll around the town and see how many of the brilliant scarecrows created by our wonderful local businesses you can spot. There are some fantastic creations waiting to be discovered – and plenty to make you smile along the way! 😊

Faversham’s Charter Market runs on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays every week. The market sells a range of local produce, household items, plants, collectibles and other interesting bits and pieces. 🪴

The markets take place in the Market Place and Court Street.

🏛️ Guildhall Renovation Update

It’s been a positive week for the Guildhall renovation project! Thankfully, the weather held off and work has progressed as planned. 👷‍♂️

The scaffold er****on will be completed today, with any outstanding netting fitted on Monday.

A big thank you to our local businesses, residents and visitors for your patience and understanding while the scaffolding has been going up. We really appreciate your cooperation as this important project gets underway.

The scaffolding marks another significant step forward in the renovation of our Grade II* Guildhall, helping us to protect and preserve this much loved historic building for future generations. ❤️

We’ll keep you updated as the works progress!
