Well done to the members of our WAG programme who competed in the Kent Twin Piece competition this weekend! Some nerves and uncharacteristic mistakes but we are proud of all the amazing gymnastics who performed, and top 10 finishes for all gymnasts!

Special mentions:
Tin max-
- Nana: 1st on beam and 1st on floor, judge’s awards for her split jump on beam and split change on floor
- Iris: 3rd on vault and 3rd on floor
- Nana and Pippa: 3rd AA
Zinc max-
- Aria: judge’s award for beautiful artistry on floor, just narrowly missing out on a medal by 0.05!
- Lyndsey-Mai: judge’s award for perseverance on bars after performing a lovely routine in warm up
Copper max-
- Lily: competed ‘copper’ level for the first time, meaning multiple upgrades across all apparatus!

The UK government is reducing VAT on child activities over the summer break, and FCGAC is passing the soft play savings (plus a little bit more) onto our customers.

From Monday 29th June until the end of August, you can come and spend time in our *fully air conditioned* soft play for only £7 per child!

The centre remains open Tuesday-Thursday for Soft Play and Camps. Please book your space via our website.

The whole centre is closed Monday 25th and Friday 29th May.

Congratulations to three FCGAC gymnasts who attended the South East Gymnastics Regional Championships last weekend.
Zhana: 5th place
Ilona: 3rd Place (Scoring out of Bronze level)
Olivia: 1st Place (Scoring out of Silver level, and Regional Champion).

Some great scores in a hard-fought competition, and a fantastic result from all 3.

Well done to the competitors and their coaches!

Those of you who knew Darryl Trosh will have been saddened to learn of his passing.

A service of thanksgiving and celebration of his life will be held at St Mary of Charity Parish Church, Faversham on Friday 15th May 2026 at 1.30pm; all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served in the church after the service, when there will be an opportunity to share memories. Family flowers only, donations to Dementia UK or Parkinsons UK.

Darryl was the founder of Faversham Fliers Gymnastics, and trained our current Head Coaches back when they were just starting out on their Gymnastics journey.
