A great start to the Faversham Golf Academy's season!

It was great to see some strong scores being posted by both our experienced Year 13 golfers and our exciting new Year 12 recruits. A brilliant early indication of the talent, commitment and potential within this year's group.

With 17 golfers in the academy, we're looking forward to a very promising year ahead. It looks set to be a busy, competitive and exciting season as the team continues to develop and build on this positive start.

A fantastic few days away at to finish our first year! The lads had a great time playing both courses and produced some excellent golf considering the tough conditions. Amazing to see the progress the team has made this year. It is always a pleasure to be out on the course with them and very proud of how what they have achieved this year as a collective group.

Always a pleasure to see and at the club. Such great roles models for the lads to follow with their constant hard work and commitment to improve each day.

It is also a poignant reminder that even the top players are consistently grinding out the simple drills!

Fantastic afternoon on Friday for some of lads to join team during Open Week. With the sun shining and the course in superb condition it provided a great opportunity to spend some quality time with Kesson. Some excellent golf throughout the round, including an exceptional 40ft eagle putt from Luke!

It's a pleasure to see the lads consistently conduct themselves is an excellent manner and really promote everything that is great in golf.
Well done to everyone for last week and thank you for the opportunity to be part of your team.

British summer time at its absolute best!! Despite the weather it was great to get back at . They have been fantastic in supporting the academy this year and we are very grateful for their amazing hospitality today and all year.

Even with the shocking weather the lads managed to shoot some great scores, with the top 3 comprised of Freddie and Albert scoring 41 points and Max securing 3rd place with 40 points, exceptional scores considering the conditions.

It was brilliant to have some of the squad join us today. Golf is such a great game to bring people together and it is great to continue to see links between the two sporting academies develop and grow stronger.

Fingers crossed our next outing has some better weather!

Exceptional golf out there today considering the weather. With the British summer in full flow the lads had to battle it out in very tough conditions. Playing in the wind and rain is key part of golf development in the UK and the boys certainly showed their skill, grit and resilience. An outstanding 43 points for Logan for the win, closely followed by Aiden with 40 points and Sanjai with 39.

Great to see the drive and determination from the squad to play excellent golf in terrible conditions.

Top quality golf on show today for our first ever fixture against Kent University. To tackle the Kent team we united players from both Faversham Golf Academy and Canterbury Academy, once again showing how great the golfing community really is. With very competitive matches across all three groups it ended in a 2-1 win for the golf academies. A great experience for the academy lads to compete against some excellent golfers and a big thank you to Kent University for their support with our younger golfers, a fantastic group of individuals.

As always, thank you again to for hosting and providing such a great track for us to play our fixtures.

We look forward to future matches with Kent University Golf Team next season and wish them well for the upcoming exams.

Nice to see the lads consistently making progress with their swing speed training. Across the team the average gain is close to 10mph with each of the three speed sticks. Such a simple but effective training method and great to see benefits out on the course.

Golf Fundraiser!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Faversham Golf Academy Golf Day at Faversham Golf Club!

With 20 teams and 80 golfers taking part, the day was a fantastic success and raised over £2,000 to support our academy players with competitions, travel, clothing, and development opportunities.

Thank you to all players, members, sponsors, friends, and families for your incredible support and special thanks to our sponsors including Kesson Physio, Magee Gammon, and Darryl Creed Roofing.
