Fleetwood Gym Lionesses

Morning Everyone! 👋

As some of you may know, on Sunday 31st July 2022, there will be a 7-a-side charity / fundraising football tournament at Fleetwood Rugby Club (FY7 8AY), the proceeds of this will be split 50/50 to Fleetwood Gym Lionesses Football Team, in hopes to fund our first ever abroad sports tour, and The Mens Shed Mental Health Charity in Fleetwood. 💙

This charity was chosen as it resonates heavily with family members and team mates, and is also a smaller more local charity. 💪🏼

The rules are as follows :
⚽️ 7-a-side, 10 players max.
⚽️ £10pp to play.
⚽️ Team sign in from 1.30pm for first game kick off at 2pm.
⚽️ Roll on roll off subs.
⚽️ Male only, female only and mixed teams allowed.
⚽️ Players MUST be 18+.

Limited spaces available, last entry for teams is 25th July 2022.

To enter your team, contact 07541 602098 with your team name and players names, along with a designated captain. 🥅

There is a Cup, Plate and bragging rights up for grabs so make sure to bring your best starting 7! 🏆

Congratulations to M. Stoney (CM), our player of the match. Unbelievable effort in Midfield today! 🏆

Another couple of special shoutouts that need to be mentioned are K. Masterson for an incredibly strong performance in defence and L. Baines for her first two goals of the season! 📢

Despite the unfortunate loss today, what a game! The lionesses always show true dedication & battle on to the very end. 💪🏼

The team, along with the Manager, have decided that every player deserves to be ‘Player of the Match’, so a very well done ladies! 🏆

However, our Manager would like to give a special shout out to L. Baines & K. Masterson who delivered an amazing performance. 💥

An unlucky loss for the Lionesses this week against top of the league, Haslingden. The ladies worked so hard, right up to the final whistle! 💪🏼
