Can we stop using “women supporting women" as a slogan if we don't actually live by it?
I've stayed quiet for a long time, but I've seen enough.
Too many businesses build their brand around empowering women, yet only support those who already have a following, influence, or something to offer them. If you have zero followers or you're just starting out, you're often invisible.
What upsets me the most is that there are vulnerable women looking for support, community, and a safe space. They trust what these businesses are promoting. They believe they're joining something built on kindness, encouragement, and genuine empowerment.
But when support only exists if you have followers, spend money, attend every event, or can benefit the business, that's not the message being sold.
Yes, collaborating with bigger creators might grow your business but if your mission is genuinely to support women, why not give opportunities to those who need them most?
Supporting women shouldn't come with terms and conditions. It shouldn't depend on follower counts, popularity, or profit.
Real support is making people feel seen, valued, and included. It's encouraging the woman who's just starting out. It's welcoming the woman who's rebuilding her confidence. It's reaching out to the woman who feels alone. Sometimes, that small act of kindness means more than you'll ever know.
If you're genuinely supporting women, thank you. We need more of that.
But if "women supporting women" is just a marketing strategy, please don't use the phrase. There are women who genuinely believe in what you're promising, and they deserve better.
This is simply my opinion, based on what I've experienced and witnessed.

And no, we don't strip! Unless you choose to join one of our fun tassel workshops, our classes focus on movement, posture, expression, and embracing your unique self.
