County Cup progression for the Firsts and Reserves💥

The First Team continued their fine form with a 5-0 win to Kempston United FC - comfortable until, and after the Kempston red card. This team is cooking 🍳

The Reserves pulled off a cup scalp against Arlesey Town FC Development, beating a side that compete at a higher level.

Things feel good at Town. Good players, getting great results, contributing to a super atmosphere that is pushing others to take stock.

Both teams in the 🎩

County Cup weekend at the Flitwick Football Centre 🏆

There’s two home games this weekend as our attentions turn from league action to the County Cup. Please note 14:00pm kick off times now that the clocks have changed!

The Firsts host Kempston United FC in the Intermediate Challenge Cup. This’ll be a great watch, based on how our season opener unfolded against this team. Both teams doing well in the league, and now battle it out in the cup!

The Reserves are drawn in the same cup as the Firsts for the first time in years, could it be an all Town final!?

The Reserves host Arlesey Town FC Development at home, a side competing in the Spartan South Midlands Reserve League. A tough test awaits as they face a higher level opposition that are doing well in their league - but these Ressies are in top form of late, and will fancy giving anyone a game.

Come along and support your local club this weekend, it’s a big one with two huge cup matches 🏆

Flitwick Town Football Club proudly supporting flitwickcommunityfridge 💙

We’re delighted to show our support to the Flitwick Community Fridge, a fantastic Flitwick Town Council initiative which aims to provide food for those in our community that need it most.

It’s win-win. It’s saves food waste, in collaboration with local supermarkets/food outlets, and then supports residents impacted by food poverty.

We’re raising awareness of this wonderful volunteer-led initiative by promoting them on our training wear, and want to urge you to get behind it too. If you’re in need, check out the food hub opening times, and if you’re inspired by their work - why not support them to, by making a food, or monetary donation.

🔗 Check out the link in our bio to find out more!

Thank you to the Mayor’s office for connecting with us in recent months. We’re supporting the Town Mayor’s Charity, and other upcoming events too.

👕 like the shirt? Want to support your club and a local community initiative? Let us know and we can send you the details to order your own.

Four goals seals the Flitwick & Ampthill Plumbing player of the week for SadzaBoy 💥💥💥💥

Farai returned to the club this season and is enjoying his time with our new-look Reserves side.

Starting as a sub yesterday, he went out an shown exactly how to perform when you come on - making a huge impact.

Farai played on the shoulder of the last man, beating the offside trap on numerous occasions, to run through and clinically finishes his chances. Lethal finishing helping the Reserves put the game to bed.

Keep it up Farai, it’s great to see your confidence growing again 💙

‘Wednesday night Hayden’ does the business on a Saturday too💥

Yes, our Flitwick & Ampthill Plumbing player of the week award goes to Town favourite Hayden Dicker after a sublime performance on Saturday.

He’s prime Stevie G on a Wednesday with his ball-striking, and he turned this on from full back this weekend with some super deliveries into the box.

Hayden provided an assist for one of the goals and was praised highly for his deliveries by Tristan on his recent Matchday vlog too (check it out).

Great work Hayden, love to see it 💙

How long can you stand the heat!?💙

The Firsts beat Bedford Albion Football Club 2-3 away in Renhold. A big win for the lads, and a bigger one to shut up all the sausages at rival clubs who’ve been spouting off in recent weeks. Another one bites the dust 💸 💴

The Reserves put in a gritty performance to hold to a 1-1 draw - always a tough game against those lads 🤝. A .mcloughlin equaliser for the Ressies

The A Team secured their first double of the season with a 2-1 win vs Ollie United Saturdays🟣 - with Gareth Foss and Hayden Dicker getting the goals 🤩

Thank you as always to our matchday sponsors 💙

A big game awaits towards the top end of Division One this weekend 🤩

Our Firsts are looking to bounce back as they travel to Bedford Albion Football Club Firsts, who’ve also had a good start to the season.

The Reserves will be focussed on securing a third win on the bounce, as they host a tough caddingtonfc Reserves side in Division Two.

The A Team will be hoping for another good result against Ollie United Saturdays🟣 this weekend in another home fixture.

Support the lads this weekend, two home matches, and a game worth travelling for over in Renhold (wherever that is).
