Then Billy Bristow came to the oche confident from his last few games and again playing well throughout, good scoring but missing a few doubles it came down to a last leg decider which sadly went the way of the other team which resulted a 4 3 loss with a good 24.18 average
Next was Joe (grandad) west who was scoring very well against a very experienced mark bones, but in the end experience got the win and mark took a 4 2 win with Joe averaging a very respectable 22.26
Then was time for Billy (please let me fix your roof) Johnson who was steady but himself thought he didn't play like he can but was playing well, but came on the wrong end of a 4 2 loss averaging 22.76
To finish off was Terry (sorry I'm ginger) Dunham who kept up some recent good form but just came up against a better player on the day terry had a 16 dart leg to bring the game to 1 1 but then his opponent turned it on to win 4 1 with terry averaging 22.58.

It was the start of the super league season this week and our first game in Division 1
We hosted Swanley this week at home and we knew this wasn’t going to be a easy game
Swanley came with 7 players and Jason Avery was the player who drew the bye and this gave us the lead before any darts were thrown
First game up was Oli Dunham not performing to the best of what he can but he did enough to win 4-3 with a 17.71 and got us the point
Next up was Tony Norris he ran into a great opponent and he went 3-0 then Tony brought it back to 3-3 and found some cracking darts to bring it back but ultimately he left too much to do and came up short loosing 4-3 with a 22.02
Next up was Billy Johnson who played a good game against a semi pro in Wozzy and Billy missed a handful of match darts against him to beat him unfortunately Billy came up short and lost 4-3 with a 22.44
Next up was Terry Dunham who was playing decent darts leading up to this game Terry went storming in the lead 2-0 then his opponent got better and better unfortunately he lost 4-2. With a 19.81
Next up was Tony Selby he went up and put on a very good performance and showing us that with a comfortable 4-1 victory and giving us the point with a 23.10
Next up was Billy Bristow and putting on a Man Of the Match performance and beating a semi pro know as Bhav (India’s number 1)
and it was the game of the night and it certainly showed it Billy was able to get us the win with a 4-3 victory surviving numerous match darts in the deciding leg
Last but not least was Joe West was our last player to play and this decided if we got the win or the draw for the night and unfortunately Joe ran into a good performance from his opponent and unfortunately loosing 4-1

So as the 1st season for the Seasiders closed this week. We managed to finish a convincing 2nd and looking like gaining promotion to Div 1 next season.
We’ve missed a few weeks of write ups so I’ll keep them brief.
Westerham away we won 5-3 with Tony Norris taking MoM with a 25.89avg. There were 180’s for Terry and Kiz x2 each and 1 for Simon. There was 107 C/O for Noz and 100 C/O for both Billy.J and Terry.
We then travelled to Herne a bay and won 6-2. MoM went to Tony Selby with a 29.47avg. 180’s for Tony Selby x2. Billy.J had a 127 C/O.
Last night we entrained Sittingbourne and won 6-2. MoM was joint between Kiz and Billy.J with 28.23avg. 180’s for Kiz x3 and 1 for Noz. Billy.B had a 117 C/O. A special shout to Kiz who missed D12 for a 9 darter as well (we all live closer then that dart was) 😉
I’d like to say a personal thanks to Kerry ‘The Boss’ O’Brien for doing the food this season, it’s been lovely and we look forward for much the same next season 😉.
I’d also like to thank all the players who started the season, those that came in and left and those that finished the season it’s been a real team effort this year.
I’d like to thank Oli for coming and calling and chalking all season (even though you’ve been handsomely paid) 🤣
A few highlights from the season individually:
Tony Selby topped the league averages with 44.78 overall.
Kiz O’Brien hitting the most 180’s in the league with 25.
Billy Bristow hitting a 30.36avg.
Tony Selby having a 170 C/O in the very 1st game of the season.
Both Kiz and Tony Selby getting Kent call ups for the first time as well.
Last of all I’d like to thank all of our sponsors for this season On Architecture Fume Cupboard Doctor Ltd Dover Road Social Club
with out you we wouldn’t have been able to get the side up and running and play those this season. Also the bar staff at the club who kept us all hydrated this season.
Thank you everyone who has come along to support us this season and hopefully we will see you all next season for the same support.

Last game tonight for a very successful season for the seasiders

Hi All
So with a few weeks to catch up on for write ups, I’ll try and keep this a brief as possible.
So 4 weeks ago we hosted a table climbing Faversham side who would have fancied there chances against us. We managed to run out 6-2 winners in what was a convincing win. There were 180’s for Kiz x2 and simon. Mom was Billy Johnson with a 24.74 avg. we also welcomed Billy Bristow for his debut for the Seasiders.
The following we were at home again to a very decent Aylesford side who’s league position doesn’t reflect how good they are.
We were totally on from the get go and run out a really convincing 7-1 winners. Everyone recording a 21+ average. There was a 180 for Shadz and a 106 CO for Kiz. MoM went to Joe West winning 4-1 with a 26.97avg.
Next was the cup quarter final against our old foes Ashford. The was rather nip and tuck and going game for game. It ended up 4-4 after the 8 matches and captains choice. We knew we’d be up against it on this call and we narrowly lost the last game and our cup run ended.
This now brings us on to last week where we hosted K Sports down at Dover Rd.
With the draw coming out well for us and looking strong very early on.
Tony ‘Shadz’ Selby got us off to a good start wrapping up a 4-1 win with an albeit below par performance with a 21.77avg.
Shaune ‘Usless’ Carey was next finding and showing again why he’s been so realible and consistent this season winning 4-1 with a 21.50avg.
Billy ‘Roofless’ Johnson was 3rd and looked to be costing but found himself getting pegged back, he regained his form and run out a 4-2 winner with a 22.90avg.
Kiz ‘The inforcer’ O’Brien was up 4th with a tough draw but shower why he has been called up to Kent and romped to a comfortable 4-1 win with a 27.46avg.
5th was Billy ‘The Kid’ Bristow and all we have to say is wow! I’m the blink of an eye it was 3-0 and then 4-0 moments later and the average popped up……30.36avg!!! Awesome stuff Bill!! 👏🏻
Tony ‘TikTok’ Norris was next playing with what we can describe only as javelins. None the less he done what he does and cruised to a 4-1 win with a 20.11avg.
7th was ‘El Tel’ Terry Dunham in another tough draw. The first few legs going with throw and Terry missing D12 for a 12 dart leg. Then out to know where he reeled of the next 2 legs for a 4-2 and to the surprise or everyone including him with a 25.17avg.
Last up and for the White wash was Simon ‘Van Gerkin’ Scott. Again looking very comfortable and cruising to a 4-1 win with a 21.27avg.
This gave folkestone there first 8-0 win and again each player having a 20+avg.
There was 180’s for Kiz & Terry x2, Shadz, Billy.J and Billy B x1.
This week we play our last home game of the season against Sittingbourne and could possibly clinch 2nd place with a big win and results going our way in our first season.
We’d like to thank our sponsors: On Architecture Dover Road Social Club Fume Cupboard Doctor Ltd
Wednesday saw us host Ashford in what was going to be a tough and close game with both teams pushing for promotion and abit of friendly banter leading up to the game.
With the draw done and favoriting Folkestone early but Ashford coming strong late on. It was a case of getting a lead and holding on for Folkestone.
1st up was Kiz and this was more like the Kiz we know. Relentless with his scoring, even though going 1-0 soon made up for that by rattling off the next four legs in 18,17,17 and 16 darts to win 4-1 with a 28.06avg.
2nd up was Billy Johnson and feeling abit cold took a while to warm up going 2-0. Billy then soon clicked into gear and looked much more comfortable taking the next 4 legs to win 4-2 with a 23.18avg.
3rd was Joe West back from a few weeks off and looked to settle in straight away going 2-0 up. Then a few missed doubles and going leg for leg the game was 3-2 in favour of Joe. Joe sealed the win 4-3 with a 22.59avg.
4th was Shaune and this was going to be one of those games that could decide the match. The game was going leg for leg all the way through and at 3-3 missed doubles and poor set up play from his opponent was making this abit of a tense finish. Shaune held his nerve to 4-3 with a 20.89avg and out folkestone 4-0 up.
5th was Simon who had brought his fan club for the game. It must of helped as he raced into a comfortable 3-0 lead. Despite loosing the next leg he sealed the win dispite chasing a few doubles 4-1 with a 22.82avg. Giving Folkestone the much needed win.
6th was Noz and moaning he’s not been practing soon found his steady rhythm. The first two legs were pretty even at 1-1, then Noz just turned it up abit and took the next 3-0 legs to win 4-1 with a 23.42avg.
7th up was Terry and looking to carry on the winning streak. Unfortunately that’s where it all ended. He never looked close to where he has been playing and paid a heavy price for it. His opponent taking nothing away from his didn’t miss a thing and Terry lost convincingly 4-0.
Last up was Shadz in what was going to be the hardest game of the night. With both players scoring well against each other the game was level at 2-2. The next few legs could have gone either way but unfortunately for us they didn’t go out way. Shadz loosing 4-2 but it was much closer then it sounds.
Folkestone winning 6-2 was a little retribution from the 7-1 loss earlier in the season. This now puts us 2nd and in with a real good chance of promotion.
MoM - Kiz 28.06avg
180’s - Kiz, Joe, Simon x1
Also we’d like to say congratulations to Shadz on getting back in the county side and to Kiz who has been called up for his debut next month.
We have no game this coming week as it’s our bye week, but we return the following week at home v Faversham.
