Sea swimming division of Sea Kayak Explorers, based in Folkestone, Kent. I am a lifeguard and experienced swimmer. sweet and sour?

In Celtic and Norse mythology, selkies meaning 'seal folk' are mythological beings changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin. If you think deep down you could be one of the selkie folk, get out there and enjoy the magic of the sea! While I'm in the process of getting my Open Water Swimming Instructor licence, I will be posting about the sea and offering short, free swimming sessions

It's almost autumn, so a daily dose of Vitamin Sea is very important! It was great to see so many people enjoying the sea in this sunny weather.

If you are a slight introvert, maybe even a bit salty? sweet and sour? fret not, I understand you very well and won't shower you with that overwhelming extra enthusiasm! Bring your own stroppiness and swimming googles!
