Meet Terry. 👏

Not only did Terry cater for Folkestone Optimist Hockey Club and their visiting teams on Saturday, but he also catered for a function in our event space that evening.

Throughout that, following the fire at The Grand Burstin and our building being used as a Rest Centre, Terry stepped up to cater for every guest and volunteer who arrived at Three Hills Sports Park.

He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for everyone on site, rallied the team together and worked with our friends at Morrisons Folkestone to make sure everybody was fed. All while keeping morale high and bringing smiles to people's faces.

We are incredibly proud of Terry and his dedication to our community, its people and The Sports Trust. Throughout the day, his only concern was making sure everyone had something to eat.

Terry is an incredible chef who has completely transformed our kitchen. From feeding thousands of children at our holiday camps to developing our offering for birthdays and events, there isn't much he can't do!

If you're looking for a great breakfast, head down to Three Hills Sports Park, Monday to Friday, and support Terry. The food is fantastic, and the company is even better. 🍳

This is ongoing. We are open as normal, however, the car park is busier than usual and there is no access to the sports hall.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you to the incredible teams on the ground keeping everybody safe.

A fire is currently ongoing at the Folkestone Grand Burstin Hotel.

We are operating a welfare centre at Three Hills Sports Park for people being evacuated from the site, where we are providing support to those affected.

We are supporting all emergency services involved in the response and their efforts to get people to safety.

Our advice to residents living nearby is to:

• Close all windows and doors
• Avoid the area and do not attempt to approach the hotel
• Follow the instructions of emergency services
• Keep roads clear to allow emergency vehicles to access the area

We will provide further updates as information becomes available.

Bookings are now open for Healthy Hearts ECG Screening sessions by Kent Fa, delivered alongside KIMS Hospital.

These screenings can help detect underlying heart conditions and provide reassurance, and will take place at Three Hills Sports Park on the 14th November.

FREE ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGED 0–5 AT THREE HILLS SPORTS PARK

Little Athletes is back! Join us every Wednesday during term time for a fun, relaxed session designed for babies, toddlers and children up to 5.

From 9:30am–11:00am, our sports hall is filled with child-friendly equipment and activities to encourage movement, play and socialising.

Afterwards, families are invited to the café for free refreshments and more time to play and connect.

This is a completely free, fully funded community project.

One of our regular groups who attend every Wednesday at Three Hills Sports Park are having an art exhibition today!

We often wonder what they're creating when they use the facilities and it is wonderful to now see all their incredible work!
