If you’re closing your site for the winter, now’s the time to give your shower units a little TLC before putting them away.
1 Make sure they are fully drained and remove both gas hose and water connectors .
2 Remove batteries and check battery connections for any corrosion, clean if so. Always leave batteries out during storage.
3 Remove cover and clean the inside either with vacuum cleaner or pressured air. Literally blow out the cobwebs!
4 Outside can be cleaned with a damp cloth including the top vent (this can be easily removed to clean)
5 If you know you have hard water, descale the units before storing. Contact us for details on how to do this.
4 Make sure they are completely dry before packing away in boxes or wrapped and storing somewhere where frost/damp can’t get to them.
Before you take them down, run for about 5/10 minutes to ensure everything is working as it should and call our technical line for advice if necessary. Now is the time to get any issues sorted rather than wait til the last minute in the Spring.
Look after your units and they will continue to look after your guests 😁
