✈️⛴️ ORKNEY ADVENTURE COMPLETE! 🏉🔥

What a trip for our Under 18s! 💪

The team travelled all the way to Orkney — flying over ✈️ and sailing back on the ferry ⛴️— and made the journey very much worthwhile with an incredible victory!💥🏉

A fantastic performance from the girls, showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of rugby throughout the game. 💪👏

And because apparently winning wasn’t enough excitement for one trip… they even found time to get their faces painted!😂🎨

What a weekend, what a result and what a team! ❤️

Well done girls — absolutely brilliant! 👏🏉

Thank you to all the coaches who attended and parent helpers. Especially Coach Fraser.

Our U14s were in Montrose today & the ‘Angus All‑Stars’ split their squad to support both Falkirk and Fife, and the girls rose to the challenge brilliantly.

- Alice, Abby & Paeton joined Falkirk, bringing strong carries, sharp support lines and real commitment in every phase.
- Charlotte, Rowan, Grace, Mya & Allie teamed up with Fife, adding pace, power and smart decision‑making across the park.

Despite playing in mixed squads, both teams produced impressive rugby, showing confidence, teamwork and growing game awareness. As the season progresses, it’s clear every one of the girls is developing — stronger skills, better communication, and more belief in their own ability.

A cracking day of rugby and real progress from the Angus All‑Stars 🏉

The U16 Fusions were faced with challenging weather conditions on the West Coast yesterday for their National Cup Round 2 fixture v Lochaber RFC.

They weren’t put off though, with powerful carries, hard tackling, short passes between forwards and a well-judged kicking game - all good tactics for a monsoon. There was plenty of tries shared between forwards and backs - impressive in all that rain and a real team performance.

The scoreline doesn’t reflect the game, with Lochaber fighting hard the whole game, never stopping tackling. Every yard gained required huge effort by our girls, but we secured a well deserved win 🙌

Thanks as always to Lochaber for their warm welcome and fabulous hospitality 🙏

We now go into the October fixture break, awaiting to find out who we meet in the next round 🏉

In biblical sideways rain, the Angus All‑Stars U14s — Charlotte, Tilly, Alice, Abby and Grace — teamed up with Fife at Madras Rugby Club for the Caledonia Challenge 7s. Charlotte stepped up as captain of the combined squad, keeping everyone focused and fired up despite the rain. They opened with two tough matches against Falkirk and Strathendrick, battling hard despite the brutal conditions. But in their third game, the girls regrouped, dug deep, and delivered fast, determined rugby — taking a well‑earned win to finish the day on a high. A brilliant show of resilience, textbook tackles, teamwork & heart from the Angus–Fife squad.

🥋🏉 Judo meets rugby!

Our girls, with players from our combined teams Montrose & Mackie, swapped the rugby pitch for the judo mat last night, learning some basic falling techniques, holds and movement skills — and, most importantly, how these can transfer across to their rugby and help them feel more confident in contact situations.

Thank you to the coaches at Brechin Judo Club for having us along and putting the girls through their paces. It was a brilliant session, we’re already looking forward to the next session and building on what they learned! 💜🦈
