Fowey Gallants Sailing Club Tuition Fowey Gallants Sailing Club provide sailing lessons for children, teenagers and adults RYA powerboat PB1 and PB2 and Safety Boat courses.

Fowey Gallants Sailing Club RYA Training Centre provides the following:-

RYA dinghy sailing lessons for children, teenagers and adults. First Aid and Marine SRC shore-based courses

We run the RYA ‘Onboard’ Youth Sailing Scheme courses on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for local children. These sessions are run by Instructors and parents who volunteer their time which helps us to keep the course fees low. Children of all abilities welcome. In school holidays these are focussed on youth sailors but we can accommodate adults if required. The afternoons are dedicated to those wanting one-off sessions but we can provide these in mornings if space allows. Or try a ‘discover sailing’ session on our Venture keelboat. Courses or sessions for small groups, families or individuals can also be arranged subject to availability – please email us at the address below.. We're getting ready for a night of racing, betting, fun and fundraising — all without getting wet!

We're raising money for Roseland Youth Sailing Trust and Morvargh Sailing Project

Then come along on the night, bring your £1s, place your bets and see who comes out on top!

Join us for our Winter Series, with handicap fleet racing for all dinghies every Saturday at 1pm, from 7th November through to Boxing Day!

What a busy weekend! ⛵️

The SW Tera Traveller Series visited us for two days, with Saturday bringing a coaching day. We were especially proud to see 5 of the 11 boats on the water sailed by Gallants juniors!

Sunday was meant to bring some racing, but unfortunately the weather had other ideas, so we made the call to abandon racing for the day.

Saturday also saw our first coffee morning fundraiser, raising a fantastic £777.31! A huge thank you to everyone who bought, baked, ate cake, drank tea and coffee, and helped make it all happen. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Now it’s time to get shopping for some new sails and covers!

It was so lovely to see so many faces around the club and out on the water. Thanks to everyone who made it such a great weekend!

Next Saturday morning... please come and support the club and our juniors whilst eating cake!

COFFEE MORNING AT GALLANTS SAILING CLUB

We’d love for you to join us on Saturday 26th September, 10am–12 noon for a relaxed and friendly morning of tea, coffee, homemade cakes and good company, all while supporting our junior sailors.

There will also be a bottle tombola, and you’ll have the opportunity to watch our juniors out on the water during their Tera Traveller training and onboard session.

All money raised will go towards new buoyancy aids and sails for our boats, helping to keep our young sailors safe and our boats ready for the water.

Everyone is welcome, so come along, bring a friend, enjoy some cake and help support our junior sailors!
