I feel like I've been away for a month, but really we just packed as much as possible into 4 days in London.

Lots of :
● sunshine (34° is too hot)
● art - Banksy, Frida Kahlo, & the Apollo Theater for comedy The Truth
● walking (hit 30,000 steps on our first day)
● lovely food, drink to break up all the walking 🤣
and of course
● Tennis, Wimbledon for the quarter finals, and
● relaxing in Kew Gardens to finish our trip.

I'm full of summertime energy, ready to get back to the mat.

Classes are back and Saturday morning is looking good for beach yoga.

Hope you're getting the most out of our lovely sunny days too, what you up to, anything exciting?

I've a few days off this week, sometimes, taking a break is the best step forward for our practice (and our bruises)

The amount I've fallen over this week is a sign I'm ready for my hols.

✈️ 🌞 🎾

I'm away from Tuesday so Yoga next week looks like this...

Sat 4th - 9am, Ashtanga, Studio
Mon 6th - 2pm, Strong, Dalrymple
Tues 7th - No Yoga
Sat 11th - No Yoga
Mon 13th - Back to normal schedule.

Have you ever noticed how the same yoga pose can feel completely different depending on how you use your body?

Often we're focused on what the pose looks like, but the real magic happens in the foundations.

When we learn how to actively engage through our feet, legs, core and hands, poses can start to feel lighter, stronger and more stable.

It's not about working harder. It's about working with purpose.

Whatever stage you're at in your practice, the foundations matter.

Feet. Hands. Core and Breath

The more awareness and control we build there, the stronger, steadier and more effortless our movement can become.

Just over 18hrs of daylight - Sunrise to Sunset on the Solstice.

What a beautiful day, delighted I got to spend it doing things I love ...swimming with Salty Water Folk, digging in the garden with my cat (and hens), family BBQ for Fathers Day, and finishing it off with yoga for the first time at the Mill Shore and another brilliant swim.

So lucky to live where we do 🥰
