2026 LCW Car Parking

Please be considerate when parking at the various changeover points & be mindful not to block resident driveways or congest the main roads. If possible car share or organise a drop off!

Please note the following:

Leg 2/3 Scotchman Lane - there’s plenty of car parking available at the Needless Inn 200yds from the COP.

Leg 4/5 Golden Acre Park - the main car park is currently being refurbished & parking is limited. An alternate car park can be located at Arthington Rd & also A660 at LS16 9JY.

Leg 5/6 Scarcroft- the car park (field) will be open to receive vehicles from 10:30am.

We’re disappointed not to be able to provide our famous post LCW Relay spread this year, due to matters beyond our control. However, food is available to purchase directly with The Podger if required.

Please note, only food ordered with The Podger can be consumed on their premises, please DO NOT tuck in to your own picnic!

Also a polite reminder that alcohol purchased from The Podger, must be consumed either within the pub or the b**r garden / terrace only & not accompany its owner to the finish line, this is for both legal & H&S reasons!

We value The Podger’s support & would not wish to jeopardise our relationship for any future event.

2026 LCW Relay -Leg 4

Due to the relatively high temps forecast for race day, in addition to the 2no water stations planned for legs 5 (Wike Ln) & 6 (A64) we will also be adding a water station on leg 4. This will be at approx the 5 mile mark, at the junction between Knott Lane & Leeds Rd. 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🦉
