First day of autumn and we have laid the grass courts down, cleared the seasons grass cuttings. Thank you everyone for your help today. So good to have many volunteers.

Congratulations to the men’s winner Charlie Voss and the 3 joint lady winners Pam Davidovich, Sue Claver and Sally Clarke. Also pictured are BETH Whitley and Janet Curvis, who kindly organised the event. We now wait to discover who have been the best players over all of the season’s tournaments. The Vera Fell Trophy for the ladies and the John Hill Trophy for the men.

The last tournament of the year. Great turnout 10 pairs loving the friendly competition. Don’t worry if you like what you see we carry on playing. We are a 12 months a year club.

CLTC President’s Day 2026. 9 mixed doubles pairs played for the Cup. Well done to everyone taking part. Some really great tennis played today. Congratulations go to winners Sally Clarke and Graeme Southam and to runners up Joe Emmett and Michelle Graham-Roe.

What a great day. Strawberries, Cream and Prosecco for the mens Wimbledon final, and a tie break tournament. Fun in the sun, this is when the club shines.

Announcement! Please note that the planned Yorks Men’s Seniors match vs Durham & Cleveland on Friday has been CANCELLED due to the poor weather forecast. Unfortunately the fixture will now be played indoors at Huddersfield instead but hopefully we can host similar fixtures in the future.
