A proud one for everyone at Garstang Rugby Club this weekend.

Four former Garstang players line up against each other as Fylde take on Preston Grasshoppers at The Woodlands in National League 2 North.

🟠 Sutty & Will Greenwood — Fylde
🔵 Ben Corless & Will Parkinson — Preston Grasshoppers

All four pulled on a Garstang shirt on their rugby journey, and it’s fantastic to see that journey continue into National League rugby.

This is exactly what Acorns to Oaks is all about — players developing, progressing and going on to test themselves at a higher level, while always remaining part of the Garstang Rugby family.

There might be bragging rights on the line tomorrow, but from everyone back at Garstang, we’re incredibly proud of all four of you.

What a way to start our Peter Hughes Lancashire RFU Plate campaign!

A fiercely contested game against Littleborough finished 28–28, with absolutely nothing separating the two sides on the scoreboard.

But with Garstang scoring four conversions to Littleborough’s three, the 1st XV progress to the next round on conversion count! 💛💙
