What a class time everyone had on Saturday afternoon at our pop up. This tasty squad shaped by Del Stevyn - Commercial photography headed out on the 5 social shake out run planned and led by the lovely fellas at Heart & Soul Racing . Big turnout by the Geordie Run Club amongst loads of NCRC regular faces. Come on. Great to see you all and thanks so much to everyone who came through!

The fist NCRC repping runner we spotted at yesterdays Great North Run was Graeme Wardale (are you on insta mate?) who on a check of the official results finished in an insane time of 01:21:58. If you’re new to NCRC, did you know all our artwork is illustrated by hand by real artists?

In this moment in time, when it’s so easy to create images with a few prompts in an AI app it’s more important than ever for us to keep working with real, talented, hard working artists. We’ve worked with GRVEYARDSHFT on the vast majority of stuff since the start of NCRC, as well as linking up with Ryan “ROADKILL” Quickfall , Chris B. Murray am MIGHTYSHORT on some great pieces too. Real art created by real artists in a collaborative experience can’t be beaten!

So, if you like our limited edition illustrated stuff, watch this space, we’ve plenty more exciting bits coming this year, including some new illustrated tee’s for the pop up by GRVEYARDSHFT alongside a new collabo with first time collaborator travispriceillustration to round of the year with!

No messing around by our man Del Stevyn - Commercial photography editing pics from today’s Great North Run. These are amazing, this is the look on face that we saw repeated on thousands and thousands and thousands of other runners faces this morning passing my us, pure delight at the atmosphere and the vibes! Warms our hearts. It’s our local race but it really is up there with the best races in the world isn’t it, especially when the sun is shining!!

Love this lil clip filmed for us. Just listen to the hustle and bustle in the pop up half a hour before yesterdays 5k social shakeout with supported by on the hydration tip, on the refuel donut tip and who let loads of you lovely lot take out some of there amazing road shoes for a demo! What a day, what a weekend. So much to catch up on. But first. It’s GREAT NORTH RUN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an absolutely amazing, but shattering couple days we’ve had with our second ever pop up down at BottleWorksUK in Ouseburn. Today would have been an impossible mission without the help of Maddy and Tanya Westgarth as we had another day of loads of you lovely lot, new faces and regular ones through the door. Over the two days we put through just under 200 transactions, which has blown us away. So thankyou you to each and everyone one of you who supported.

We’ve loads to catch up on from the day including the amazing Heart & Soul Racing x Scott Sports Running Division and OTE SPORTS / PERFORMANCE NUTRITION social, but for now, we’re zonking out, ready to be at the Civic Centre 8:30am for the pre great north run then you’ll find out Al and Del Stevyn - Commercial photography on the course, same spot as normal, central reservation, Gateshead side as you head up the hill off the Tyne bridge.

Ouseburn, it’s been a blast again, we’ll be back for Lap 3 next September!!!! Again, thanks so much to Maddy and Tanya for today’s help and Amy for yesterday. What a brilliant team, we’d love to have you back next year helping our and , think we need 3 people in store now each day if it’s anything like this weekend!

Massive congrats to Rog Warriner who was the 1 runner out of the 70 who got a goodie bag at the pop up shop yesterday who drew the one off black keyring winning a £25 NCRC voucher, a £25 OTE SPORTS / PERFORMANCE NUTRITION voucher and a pair of SCOTT Sports UK shoes of his choice. Well done Rog!

What an absolutely amazing first day of the pop up today was! Massive thanks to Amy who gave up a day off work to come and help our out. Would have been a real struggle without your help today Amy so thank you so, so, so much!

Was a lot of people really keen to grab the pop up exclusives and grab a goodie bag fuelled by OTE SPORTS / PERFORMANCE NUTRITION they’d all gone by early afternoon with the winning black key ring being drawn by. Congrats mate!

We’re back in tomorrow from 10am with the help of Maddy covering the mornings helping hands and Tanya Westgarth on afternoon duties. Thanks in advance to you two, because if tomorrows gonna be like today, it’ll be a busy but very fun one!

Reminder tomorrow too we’ve the Heart & Soul Racing 5k social kicking off at 2pm where you can take a pair of Scott Sports Running Division shoes out for a demo (thanks Michelle Castro for sorting that!) with after donuts from Deep North and rehydration from OTE SPORTS / PERFORMANCE NUTRITION

It’s gonna be a great day. Amazing to see so many familiar and so many new faces today, we really appreciate your support!!!
