Our U14’s won in a thriller away from home 7-6 to a strong Seaham team💪
We started great on the front foot with the wind pushing them back and creating lots of openings before we eventually got the deserved breakthrough through the excellent Danny👏
We continued to push on and doubled our lead half way through first half. We still dominated in midfield and could’ve and probably should’ve added a few more to our tally, then just before half time we conceded a dubious penalty to half the deficit. Second half against the wind we continued to dominate and raced into a 5-1 lead, with our midfield just too good to control especially our magnificent Olly who scored 1 and assisted 4 on his league debut🏆
Seaham pushed hard and got back into the game to somehow level 6-6 with a mixture of excellent strikes and poor defending. The lads then switched back on with only a minute left we won a deserved penalty and Danny stepped up to score his 5th of the game to win it, so proud of the lads battling on when lots would’ve folded👊
Onto next week and hopefully get another 3 points on the board.
