Chalfont St Peter Cricket Club Chalfont St Peter CC is a sociable, village club dating back to the middle of the nineteenth century.

Village cricket club based at Chalfont Park Sports Club | League matches on Sat & friendlies Sun | U6s - U17s Junior cricket | Women's and Girl's teams WWW.CSPCC.CO.UK. We warmly welcome new members for competitive men's and women's, social and junior boys and girls cricket. We play our home matches at Chalfont Park in Buckinghamshire, one of the most picturesque venues for cricket in the country. The ground is situated next to Gerrards Cross Golf Club on the outskirts of the village. We run Saturday men's teams in the Thames Valley Cricket League, friendly Sunday teams playing both Twenty20 and longer format games, a women's section playing both hardball and softball matches, and a thriving junior section with over 200 members aged 5-19. We are a local volunteer run club with an emphasis on participation and inclusivity, but employ professional coaches to provide the best possible coaching for senior and junior players. The final weekend of the season was perfect 🙌

Starting with our Saturday 1st XI, who may not have got the win, but secured enough points to confirm them as Champions of Division 4C! 🎉 A huge congratulations to Kash Mohammed and the entire squad for their efforts throughout the season 👏

On Sunday, Anita Thorose put in a perfect captains display to lead her side to the Division 3C title! Batting first, Anita scored 114* off 79 balls, supported by Sue Cemlyn-Jones' 61* as we reached 253/2. We then restricted a resilient Horspath CC to 123/6 in reply, and with the win confirmed the league title! Congratulations to Anita and the entire Women's squad on a fantastic year! 🥳

Elsewhere on Saturday, our 2nd XI picked up their 9th win of the season, and with that, a 5th place finish in Division 7D. Josh Briant was in the runs once again! An excellent 81 from Usman Ghazi helped the 3rd XI to their 7th win of the year, and also a 5th place finish. A great first year in the league for the 3s! And finally, it was another successful friendly for the 4th XI, this time away at Chesham CC 👏

A big thank you to all the players for their efforts throughout the year, and of course, all of the volunteers that make the season possible. 2026 has been superb, here's to an even better 2027 🏏

It's the final week of the 2026 league season, and we've got all three sides set for action, plus our 4th XI make another appearance! 🎉

A win for the 1s tomorrow away at Wraysbury would see them crowned champions of Division 4C! Elsewhere, the 2s and 3s have both secured their places in their current divisions for next season, and will look to wrap up the year with another win! Our Volunteer of the Month, presented by Vinny & Ted goes to Rob Catherall! 🥳

For the past 3 years, Rob has been the primary force behind our now U15s. His tireless efforts to get matches arranged for both our Spirit and Phoenix teams has provided great opportunities for a big group of boys, and helped develop a number of them into regulars for our senior sides.

A breathtaking Saturday 😮

After bowling Ruislip out for 239, the 1s chase got off to a rocky start, falling to 0-2. Sanjay and Sami began a rebuild, but eventually we slipped again, this time to 79-6. Gary Hales and Ben Woodhead began another rebuild, lifting us up to 133 before both were dismissied. Skipper, Kash Mohammed then hit a brilliant 48 off 38 to keep us in the hunt. He fell at 199-9, leaving Mithul and Josh 41 runs to win. The pair were more than up for the task, Mithul finishing 34* and Josh 28* to secure an incredible win and maintain our spot at the top of Division 4C 🔥

50s for Sameer Johar and Eddie Keen, along with 49 for Orangzaib saw the 2s up to 259/7. Denham put on a show in reply, chasing down the total for the loss of just 1 wicket 🤝

Our 3rd XI split into two, and took on Aston Rowant and Holyport in two friendlies. Dan Woodhead and Usman Ghazi both hit 60s as the team taking on Aston Rowant chased down 235 to win! Runs from the Brindleys, and wickets from the Hipwells helped the team taking on Holyport to a 48-run win 👏
