Medway Watersports operates from its own site at The Strand, Gillingham and we use the public slipway to enter the tidal river Medway. Medway Watersports is approved by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA)and Canoe England (BCU) as a training centre offering a wide range of accredited courses for young people.

We said a big WELCOME BACK 😃 to the 2026 Japanese Exchange students group yesterday for the 4th year running. Organised by the 8th Rainham Brownies we were so happy to get them out in the kayaks for some fun in the river. It was a little choppy but they handled it like pros and had a great time!
We look forward to hosting the next group in 2027 😃
