Saturday 3 October - 9:00am - Pre Cross Country Parkrun - Great Lines, Gillingham

As is tradition now, we will be having our pre cross country season meet up at parkrun on Saturday 3 October at Great Lines parkrun. All training groups and age categories to come along and get involved ahead of the first Kent League fixture at Foots Cray the following Saturday.

Wear your Medway vest and join the sea of red running round the Lines.

Kent County Athletics Awards and Dinner - Friday 6 November - 7:30pm

Tomorrow night the M&M Seniors Distance Training Session is the famous Tour of the Medway Hills. The perfect way to start your hill training block, taking in some of the finest hills Medway has to offer. All guests are welcome to come along and join for this session, as a taster of what future training sessions involve. Meet at 6pm for the warm up or 6:30pm for the start of the session.

Yesterday saw the Kent Under 14 Pentathlon Champs, with seven M&M athletes representing the club.

A long day for all, finished with success in both the boys and girls competition. Up against some tough competition Harry came away with the bronze medal for the boys and in the girls Gracie took the gold medal, with a points score that sees her top the UK rankings!

Well done to all, a great effort from all of our athletes competing!

The Club’s Summer Awards presentation evening will take place at the Kings Rochester Sports Centre, 601 Maidstone Road, Rochester, ME1 3QJ on Friday 23rd October, 2026. Time: 7pm for a 7.45pm presentation start.
A selection of buffet food will be available on arrival before the presentation starts at 7.45pm alongside the bar area which you can access for drinks throughout the evening.
It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible to celebrate together the many successes the Club has had throughout the track and field season.

If you or your little ones have been inspired by all of the athletics on TV recently, Medway and Maidstone Athletic Club are hosting their final open meeting of the season on Saturday 5 September. This includes a fully supervised morning of athletics for juniors, as an introduction to athletics or for those wanting to get some more practice. Take part in four athletics events, all guided by qualified coaches. Each athlete also gets a certificate at the end, listing all of their PBs from the morning. Entries close 8pm 2nd September
