Beautiful, ain’t it?

This lovely Pendleton Somerby rescued from the back of the garage and brought back in to service, ready for riding during an upcoming holiday on the south coast.

💚 New chain
💚 New brakes front and rear
💚 New stainless cables and outers
💚 Gears correctly adjusted
💚 Seasonal TuneUp Check completed

It was quite dreamy to test ride around the court yard here, reminds me of how comfortable a bike can be!

Do you have a bike that needs some TLC and want a qualified mechanic to get the job done?

I’m open 7 days a week and aim to turn most services around within 24 hours (parts permitting).

Find me next to on the outskirts of Gillingham, Dorset.

Been a bit quiet online … decided to move the website to so have been busy back at my desk👌🏻

Still a bit of work to go until all images and descriptions are updated but needed to get it live see what breaks.

Online service booking will come back, once I’ve figured out how 🤪 for now just call me or drop in.

Few items now on sale as it’s the end of season … have a browse around and grab a bargain.

Thanks - a very comprehensive platform, been an enjoyable learning curve to get my head around 🤓

Don’t ride black bar tape in the autumn … choose your colour and own it.

Absolutely love it when customers are bold with their bikes and the Profile Design cork tape in Celeste really pops against the carbon on this Planet X Superlight Pro Carbon.

Very choice.

Got tubeless tyres?

Have they been serviced or topped up? No? Read on…

Sealant needs topping up, it’ll naturally find gaps between the tyre and the rim (nevermind any punctures!), solidifying…which can result in tyres not seating correctly (or at all) if deflated (as my recent customer found out)

Check your sealant every 3 months, top it up as needed.

Strip your tyre annually and if needed, replace tape…although that should need doing less often if applied correctly in the first place

☑️ Old dried sealant removed from rims
☑️ New tape applied with correct overlap
☑️ Old sealant removed from tyres
☑️ New sealant added based on riding style and tyres (LOVE the MTB sealant from Muc-Off
☑️ Tyres inflated, sealant distributed and given 12-24 hours to display any problems before heading back to customer

Bring your bike or wheels to me for an autumn tubeless refresh, I’m more than happy to get those rims cleaned up and tubeless ready for the autumn / winter season!

Building a test fleet for rides around the front of the tarmac, and extended rides; take the bike somewhere local, we can recommend a few places (available with a deposit)

Currently have

Seeker 20
Seeker 24

They aren’t current models but give an excellent representation of the longevity available in the bike, the quality and lightness that means kids can’t put them down and you’ll be having to keep up!

Still on the look out for good quality 14 and 16 Belter or Seeker to complete the demo fleet.

As a Pro dealer, I’ve got every size of Early Rider available in stock at all times with direct access to the warehouse for rapid shipment of different colourings or other models.

There is only one Holbrook Cycleworks…

Quite unbelievable to be writing this but someone has attempted to rip off my little bike shop in the North of Dorset and hosted a website portraying a bike shop using all my company details but the domain is **not mine**, and I assume the webshop may end up with a transaction and no product shipped.

I operate from a unit just outside of Gillingham, Dorset and the ONLY web presence I have for purchases is https://holbrookcycleworks.co.uk

Accept no imitations!

Flattered but also a bit frustrated - I just hope legitimate customers aren’t being parted with their hard earned cash.
