The boys are back in league action on Saturday at New Tinto Park as the title race heats up. Get yourselves down on Saturday morning for what should be a great game between 2 strong sides

We meet table toppers Gairdoch at home in the semi final of the regional cup. Another chance to get to another final this season for this amazing group of players.

Well done to the boys on making the final of the scottish cup. This group of players deserve to be there as the hard work they put in week after week to be successful. 1 more game to go and make memories of a lifetime.

The game started very well for us and we played some fantastic football and deserved to go in the lead after a few chances missed we got that breakthrough when the gk kicked down the middle and kieran wilkie win the header as the ball made its way to logan kerr who on the half turn bulleted a volley into the net from outside the box 1-0.

The second goal came in the second half after a great run by logan seen him took down in the box and he converted the penalty 2-0.

Edinburgh had to fling everything at it and they did and won a free kick which looked as if it was in after a great hit by the lad but as he has done all season aiden carrolls save was absolutely fantastic and got they finger tips onit to touch it away and keep us 2-0 up.

Edinburgh finally got their goal and made it a nervy end but thoroughly deserved victory for our boys.

Over the moon for this group to achieve getting to the final. 1 more push lads 👏🏻⚽️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

Saturday the biggest game of our season yet. We are playing Edinburgh Utd at Broadwwod stadium 1pm kick off.

Saturday we had another tough game against a good knightswood team.

We started the game and found ourselves going a goal down so had to step it up a bit as we were a little sloppy at times.

1st goal came when Glen stepped out from the back and played a good long ball into Lewis Forwards path and with a right foot shot beat the gk 1-1

We then went 2-1 down and needed to do it all again and we did that when Matthew Mccaffrey came deep on the right and played a good ball over the top for Lewis to go get his second of the game 2-2

3rd goal came with a corner and the knightswood defence failed to clear and it fell to Matthew Mccaffrey who blasted a right footed shot under the gk 3-2

4th goal came after that as Shai Stephenson got on the ball in midfield and slipped a nice pass through for Lewis Forward to score and give us a cushion in the game 4-2

We never made it easy for ourselves and let knightswood back in as we went to 4-3 but boys battled back again and after some nice passing the ball fell to Lewis Forward who crossed into Anton Murney who volleyed it past the keeper to seal the win and put us through to another semi final this season.

Overall a frustrating 1st half and difficult game against a good side but the boys have shown this character many times this season which is why were doing very well. Keep it up lads 💪🏼⚽️
