This Memorial Day weekend, hundreds of thousands of people around the world will take on The Murph Challenge.

Not just to complete a workout.
But to honor the life, service, and sacrifice of Lt. Michael P. Murphy.

The Murph Challenge is the official annual fundraiser for the LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation, helping carry forward Michael’s legacy through education and scholarship support.

Since 2014, more than $2.25 million has been raised through participation in The Murph Challenge.

❓WHAT MAKES CROSSFIT PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS?

🧩 1. Everything is scalable (this is the big one)

In a good CrossFit gym (called a “box”), every workout can be adjusted to your level. Can’t do a pull-up yet? You’ll use bands. Heavy weights too much? You go lighter.

That means you’re never “behind”—you’re just doing your version of the workout.

Unlike wandering around a gym guessing what to do, CrossFit classes are coached. Trainers guide your form, pacing, and technique.
