been quiet on here recently but the club is going from strength to strength and numbers are well up on a nightly basis.all bodes well for the upcoming io where we will definitely have 2 teams and possibly 3.just over 2 months to go now and a healthy number of 64 and 14 teams.we look forward to welcoming you all back to glasgow

last night saw 8 players atteend and several league games were played results were

we have 2 newbies just starting their journey but in their game against each other it was david who took the spoils.not much between them in game play but david was more clinical and scored an excellent 2nd goal with bursting run down the left and a shot from distance on the run,considering this was lith lightweights is all the more remarkable. a good future in store for both though there will be some tough lessons along the way.John and danny hard a hard tussle which john edged 2-1.danny continues to improve and will surely take some good results this season.tom v willie was a also a close affair though tom did create the better chances and should have made the game safe,willie is always a tough nut to crack. a good nights play and the numbers continue to grow which is great to see

On a busy opening night we got last seasons glasgow cup semi final played,after a 1-1 draw btwn willie and andrea,willie edged it 3-2 on shots.after the ecstasy it was back to league business and this time willie lost out 1-0 to dave g in a game of few chances and a 5 min touchline tussle.probably had to be seen to be believed.😅😅.next up was a meeting betwn tom and andrea.last yrs div 1 and 2 winners.a fairly tight 1st half ended 0-0,in the 2nd tom eventually made the breakthrough and ended with a 2-0 win.andrea will almost def not be div 2 this yr.fresh from his world cup exploits danny was up against kevin,again a close 1st half saw kevin edge it 2-1 before running out a comfortable 5-1 winner,definitely one to watch this year.the other game was john v brian which saw john run out a comfortable 5-0 win.this year could see one of the closest seasons with more people definitely having a shot at the title.dave butler probably still the bookies favourite.there may be a lot of tripping each other up this year.

Well that was a blast,thankfully over,my feeet are killing me.Congrats to you all for descending on glasgow this weekend.The winners as espected came from Elstow but in the team event they were pushed hard by a strong wobbly hobby outfit,thanks to all for the spirit shown with barely an issue over the two days.On a personal note,got out the the group and lost out on golden goal to Martin hodds,And again in the team we had a couple of strong performances v kent and wolves and a narrow loss to gorrizia saw us pair up with yorkshire in the barrage.that ended our day but more than happy with our efforts.many thanks to you all and see you later in the year.
