I can’t believe it’s nearly Easter time and Monday is the last class for a few weeks.

Hope to see all my regulars or anyone new comers for our last pilates session in March, any favourite moves or small equipment exercises you want me to include in my lesson plan? Or even any type of background music you would like me to play? All suggestions welcome.

See you all on Monday for our Easter session, maybe I’ll have to convert some of the classic moves to incorporate an Easter theme.

Thanks for all those who came along tonight, you all worked hard. It was back to basics tonight to remind everyone of the basic concept of pilates.

There are many benefits to pilates which benefits your health.

1. Helps you to relax and destress
2. Increases your flexibility and mobility
3. Great for core strength and pelvic floor muscles.
4. Improves your sleep
5. Helps you recover from injuries
6. Improves posture and makes you walk taller
7. Improves well-being
8. Strengthen muscles

And that’s just a few benefits of pilates, what more could a body ask for.

Come and give Pilates a try on a Monday night 7:15pm Masonic Hall, Chryston or a Wednesday night 6:30 at Hayston Gold Club.

Thanks to everyone who came along tonight, you all worked hard using your small pilates ball and I hope you especially enjoyed your relaxation at the end of class after all your hard work.

I hope you all sleep well as this is one of the many benefits of Pilates.

Just a quick reminder my Mat Pilates class is on tomorrow night, 6:30pm at Hayston Golf Club, Kirkintilloch.

Fancy a form of exercise that makes you feel good, makes you sleep well and you can do at your own ability and improve at your own pace?

I have some spaces available at the moment. Send me a message if you would like to attend or for further information.

No experience required all levels welcome. I keep my classes small to allow me to keep an eye on everyone and that you progress at your own pace, using alternatives exercises/ layers if needed.

Remember to bring your MAT, a cushion for any sore knees or hips and water.

Pilates is not aerobics: as with yoga, it takes a bit of practice to properly master some of the techniques, so you need to stick at it to really reap rewards.

You will find that even a handful of sessions is enough to start feeling fitter and stronger. But stick with it for about 10 sessions, and you will definitely feel significant change.

‼️‼️ Unfortunately class is now cancelled tonight as the golf club has no heating due to frozen pipes. Next class will be on 31st January as its Burns Night at the club next week. Hope to see u in a couple of weeks or if you decide to come along to class on Monday.‼️‼️
