We’ve been quiet on here in the off season but we’ve been busy converting a building to our new kart shop and storage units for rent. A little before and after and the 2022 prize giving trophy haul for our drivers. 2nd in Junior Max for Matilda Brazier and 3rd for Will. Pretty good for their first season in those classes.

A fantastic weekend of racing at a new circuit. Kids got faster every session and had great battles albeit at the back. A surprise wet final needed everyone in our team to help but we got Will out on a full wet setup and he drove really competitively to bring it home 8th. MJ nailed her equally wet final, holding on to 12th by half a kart over the finish line.

Best bit was seeing the pair of them beaming. First time in a few weekends that we’ve had a rewarding one.

Massive congratulations to our Neil Maclennan Racing team mate Reece Duthie Racing on the Super Series Win. 🏆 Well deserved and a great role model for our drivers.

Also can’t thank Willie of Potenza Racing Engines enough for collecting MJ’s broken engine after the race, saving us a long detour home. Top service from our engine builder of choice.

Huge thanks to the officials and marshals for all their efforts.

Shout out again to Mark Patterson for the engine loan for MJ. She wouldn’t have been on track today without it.

Matilda did the best she could on old mojos after we messed up her season tyre allocation 🤦🏻‍♀️, coming in 4th. A real shame after a blinding Saturday practice. Well done to Craig on the win and Mark and Darren on podiums.

No excuses for Will as he was on new komet rubber. Still can’t get near his PBs but can’t fathom why. We’ll never tire of watching Aiden MacDonald Racing and Duncan ‘sideways’ Ingram battle it out at the front and Mya drove brilliantly for 3rd.

Great bunch of kids in both classes.

MJ smashed Round 5 Saturday practice at Boyndie. Don’t know where the pace came from but a happy driver with a PB. Hope she can carry it into tomorrow.

Will struggled at half a second off his PB but 🤞new boots sort him out for race day.

Race van unexpectedly in the garage 🙄 so missing out on the party tonight but we’ll make up for at the final round next month! 🍻 🍹
