No class tonight as the Scottish blood donor service are using Clarkston Hall - it’s national blood week 🅱️🆎🅾️🅰️

We had fun with a few new dances to try with some needing a bit more goes at them, but we had fun!

No class on the 25th as the hall is closed but back on Monday 1st June 😊

Summer Workshops are back with the RSCDS Glasgow 🩰✨

After a lovely spring of Commonwealth themed classes, we’re heading into a relaxed summer of dancing. This is your summer invitation to keep dancing, keep learning, and keep the joy going in a friendly, welcoming space.

Whether you’re building up your Scottish Country Dancing skills or just looking for a great night out, you’ll fit right in. If you know anyone with a little Scottish Country Dancing experience, bring them along too.

Expect a mix of familiar favourites and dances from upcoming programmes, ideal for beginners and general class dancers. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back this June, so mark your calendars!

Wow has a week gone by and I’ve not posted anything from our first night at Mickel SCD club?!

Great turnout on Monday night with 54 dancers on the floor, making it a great night 😁

Lots of regular dances and favourites such as Joppa Rocks, Young Accordion man, The Ravens dance and Cranberry tart. Couldn’t resist a few new ones like GG XX and The sugar loaf jig 😝

At Mickel SCD we always promise a luxury biscuit 🍪 at the interval with tea and coffee, so hope this does not disappoint 😋 just got to get the gluten and milk free options and then we are all set for Monday.
