Massive thank you to our students and their families who came out to help raise club funds by bag packing at Morrisons.

The club managed to raise just over £800!

A fantastic amount which will be used to help kit out our new extension, once the building work has been complete 🤩

Our next bag packing date is Saturday 21st October at Morrisons Anniesland

Please remember that some road closures will be in effect with the cycle event. Leave in plenty of time

Mr Donnelly began training in 2011 under the instruction of Miss Mann. He later moved to instruction under Mrs Timoney in 2013.

Mr Donnelly is currently ITF Scotlands youngest school owner at the age of 22. He opened his school Force Taekwon-do in October of 2021 and has managed to create local, regional and National Champions.

Before opening his own school Mr Donnelly was an assistant instructor at Glasgow East Taekwon-do for many years, where has passion for teaching began.

Mr Donnelly made ITF Scotland history in 2022, when he was elected to serve on the Board of Directors. This made him the youngest ever member to hold a position on the Board of Directors.

Mr Donnelly’s piece of advice to other Taekwon-do practitioner’s is to trust the process.

“When things aren’t always going your way in Taekwon-do remember to trust the process. Taekwon-do is a journey and you’re constantly learning. Regardless of grade, you can learn something off of anyone.”

This weekend FORCE Taekwon-do took a small comp team of 6 students down to Cardiff to take part in the first ITF OPEN WELSH.

3x BRONZE MEDALIST 🥉🥉🥉

What’s even more special is that this was the first time that our club has competed outwith Scotland at an international event.

The club came 15th out of 39 clubs. An excellent achievement for our first international competition

I am beyond proud of the team and delighted to say that the full team is taking medals back home to Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏆🥈🥉

What a great team of competitors, coaches and supporters. Everyone was there for each other and that’s what the club is about 🥋🌟
