What......a.....day
49_ games
Me being mega injured entered to have a bit of fun and support the day. The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish. Derek and myself 2nd to go so I could get in coaching the others. Best bunch of supportive people in gym49. We were in it for fun today and smashed a time of 48.31........im buzzing for that as I had in my head an hour with me being injured. So for us to pull that off I'm chuffed 🙌💪

From the coaches pushing everyone forward and encouraging, to the set up from William, Andy and Chris. All the helpers to get the balloons etc done. The catering. The people grooming the other gyms in smashing it with us. And everyone that came to support everyone

Honestly one of the best days!!!

Well done everyone 🙌💪🫶♥️

David and Angela joined my strength and conditioning group. The results are amazing. This is David's. Angela's to follow.....keep your eyes peeled.

Weight down 70kg (154lbs) - 69kg (152lbs)

Bodyfat down from 26.3% - 19.6% 💪
Lean mass up 113.5lbs - 122.2lbs 💪💪
Fat mass down 40.5lbs - 29.8lbs 💪

Outstanding results from David. I set his calories sorted his plan........and the stuck to it trusted the process and the hard work has paid off.

David has changed his lifestyle habits, started a new job. He has ticked every box that I have asked. And gave 💯 in each session.

Looking forward to the next couple of blocks to see the muscle grow and David achieve his goals 💪💪

Greg and his 4 week results

Greg has came back after some time off. Hes joined my online programme. As he's using the gym im in we can get his bodyfat measurements done.

He has put the work in....done everything thats been asked of him. And his results are outstanding.

Weight down from 80kg (176lbs) - 77kg (170lbs)

Bodyfat down 37% - 30.1%
Lean mass up 110.9lbs - 118.8lbs
Fat mass down 65.1lbs - 51.2lbs

Absolutely outstanding for 4 weeks. Shows if you keep the consistency the plan works 💪

Looking forward to the next block with Greg and excited to see where we go 💪💪💪

What a day yesterday at Forgandenny Horse Trials

Came in 8th out a strong class. Got our best dr score yet with 32 (we going in the right direction 🙌 roll on a sub 30) then clear in the sj and xc....... was 0.001 of a second away from getting 7th place haha....our scores were the exact same as the girl in 7th place so it came down to the faster sj time (you learn something new everyday)

She behaved amazing all day. Wasn't sure how we were going to go as on wed when I was trying to practice the dressage test...... she was pulling moves the Spanish riding school would have been impressed with as i was asking her to halt and she was too impatient to halt 🤣🤦‍♀️ think capriole.....iykyk 🤣🤦‍♀️ but then pulled off a lovely well behaved day. She tried her heart out yesterday. And the jockey remembered where to go in all 3 phases.

Meet some amazing people. This is why i love eventing.

What a fab day..... forgandenny so always be one of my favourite events 🫶❤️ roll on Brechin castle in 2 weeks 💪🐴

First event of the season. As many of you guys will remember this is where I was heading when I had that awful accident on the A9 in sept heading to the riding club one day event as a team 😢.
Even going a different route and avoiding the A9 totally.....the emotion of that day and the trauma was still there. When I arrived driving down and could see all the trailers and boxes I was overwhelmed with emotion. I was excited to be there. Looking forward to the day ahead but I also broke down crying saying to my mum im just glad we got there in one piece. Even have a wee tear in my eye writing this post hence why its took me to tues to post.
On paper we done the worst we ever have 🤣🤦‍♀️ but there was lots of wins on the day. We finished 21st what stopped us from a 7th place finish was 3 down in the sj. This is very unusual for her. She was jumping great in the warm up but I think I pressed the big red button before fence 4 as she was having a good look at it...think that maybe has blew her wee mind.....I need to remember sit still lol 😆
Dr was the best score out eventing yet with a 33% well proud esp after a 2 min warm up as we were slightly late.... with it also being a bog to ride in the warm up. Getting ready slipping and sliding like torvill and dean doing the balero........the dressage saddle ended up in the mud (where we were parked was the worst ever. The poor steward) everything was bogging and I honestly just wanted to go home as I wasn't feeling it with all the stress and trauma of getting there.
Xc........well all I can say is WOOOOOWWW she was amazing we were inside the time and clear. Little preya loved every minute of that and so did I!! It reminded me why we do this....if you know you know 🐴🫶❤️
She was standing in the trailer really well.....no more holes in my new trailer (yes the equities ain't as robust as an ifor when you have a sassy kicker in the trailer but i love my trailer). She behaved all day the best she ever has. This for me is the wins of the day.
We also had to get the tractor to tow us out as the trailer was sliding (again cue trauma from said accident) but the team were amazing. I've never laughed so hard...🤣

Recovery from my shoulder operation has been going really well, and it feels great to be getting back into training alongside my rehab. Feeling stronger and faster

Had a bit of a setback recently now with a hip arthritis diagnosis (and if you’ve been following my journey, you’ll know I’m already dealing with it in my shoulder and facing a joint replacement). But I’m not letting that slow me down.

Right now, it’s all about focusing on what I can do, staying locked in, and keeping my mindset strong. This and the rehab work for my shoulder im buzzing to see the next couple of months.

This clip is from today’s cardio session—week 6 of my programme—and I’m honestly feeling so much stronger. The intervals on the skill mill felt noticeably easier this week, which is a big win.

I’ve also joined the gym’s running club and I’m loving the challenge it brings every week. The team spirit is amazing in the group im in and the boss keeping us accountable 🙌💪
