Ladies boxing is cancelled tomorrow, back to normal next week 🥊

Summer is coming why don’t you come down and meet like minded ladies and get fit 👏🎉🥊🥊

There’s nothing that prepares you for watching your child step into a boxing ring.

When it’s your son, it hits differently.

You’re bursting with pride… but your hands are shaking. You look calm on the outside, yet inside your heart is racing and your stomach is in knots. He walks to the ring looking fearless — and all you can see is the boy he used to be… and the man he’s becoming.

Then the bell goes.

Every punch he throws, you feel it.
Every punch he takes, you really feel it.

When it’s over — win or not — the emotion floods in.

If he gets his hand raised, it’s pure relief and joy.
If he doesn’t, you’re reminded that amateur boxing is scored in real time. Different judges see different things. Clean shots, control, movement, aggression — it’s a human call. Sometimes you might see it one way from the crowd… and the scorecard reads another.

That’s the sport.

So you stand tall. You remind him the only things he truly controls are his effort, his discipline, and his character.

Because courage isn’t about the decision.
It’s about stepping through those ropes.
It’s about resilience.
It’s about growth.

We learn.
We adjust.
We move forward.
And we go again.

The highs are incredibly high.
The lows can feel heavy.
But every single moment is part of the journey. 🥊

Ravenscraig Sports Centre 2 great days at the Championships young Cole won his first bout yesterday through to Final today when were he was very unlucky and lost out to gold by a 4/1 split decision big Max through to the Finals next week 👏🎉🥊🥊

Members from Enable Glasgow Fortune Works received their certificates of achievement today from coach Matt 👏🏼 They have been attending the gym on Thursday mornings since June. Well done guys 🥊

🥊Argo had 3 Boxers in the 🥊Development championships today 1st up was young Layton McNeray who was boxing a boy from the Bronx Boxing Club Layton boxed really well however was not to be his day plenty of learning and good experience

Second up was young Ryan boyle boxed a boy from Sparta BC Young Ryan was unlucky and lost in a 2/1 split witch could have went either way

Last up was big Mathew Oharra boxed a good boy from Goodfellas gym and lost plenty of learning for the guys and 💯
